what is and open air box is it just the one off the 07 xb because i have an 05' xb12r, and i'm looking to make some simple mod's(micron exhaust and some ecm) but im just looking for some info on the upgrade that can be made to my xb....I love buell and my bike any help would help me

Its a kit that eliminates the airbox cover.
The 07 I believe have holes cut into it for better breathing. Your 05 doesnt have the holes.

if you eliminate your air box cover what happens to the exhaust servo

That gets removed. You wont need it with the Micron Muffler and the Race ECM wont look for it. No Trouble Code.

And if you run the stock ecm and aftermarket can,just tiestrap the cable above the muffler and it will think it is still attached.
