Hello everyone! I'm new to the board, but a big fan of Buell's. Thanks for all the terrific info! The SuperTT seat seems narrower to me, and definitely isn't made to accomodate a passenger. Does anyone know if the seat and or stubframe/tailsection of the XB12Ss or the CityX would fit, to make the bike a little more practical for daily life? I really dig the CityX, but would like the extra grunt of the 12, and the stretch of the XB12Ss. Thanks for anything you can suggest! |

Welcome to the board Kineticj! I know the Uly tail will bolt on so it stands to reason that the SS tail section will as well. The TT is a brilliant bike, even if it does take a bit to grow on you |

Sweet. That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks for the confirmation Diablobrian, and thanks for the welcome. |

I hear that Steve McKay is building a new bigger better newer touring bike out of HIS TT. Rumors of the ULY seat on the back... still waiting for pics |

Niceharleystuff - that is exactly what I was talking about. Now - if I can be patient, maybe I'll get lucky and find some Buell dealer looking to unload a TT for cheap this winter. |

still waiting for pics Yeah, so am I! Bike project got a little side tracked. I'm actually machining up the fairing brackets, and Hella headlight brackets tonight I pick up the Uly tail section frame rails from the Powder coater on Wednesday. So things are coming together! |
