M2 specifically? Even up? Meet halfway type of deal? For what I'm looking for I'd need lower bars, mid-controls, quieter exhaust, a passenger backrest, enclosed primary, electric starter along with the kicker. Beyond that it could work. But with comparable M2's going for under $3,500 I'm thinking probably not. Kind of a long way for a test ride to know as well.
