I was down in Amesbury MA last night for a school concert and took the bike. A guy came up to me when I was suiting up for the ride home and asked if it was a 99 and went on to tell me he has a 97 S3. Anyway, he was aware of the site, but didn't spend much time there (here) I explained to him that there are a good number of MA/NH riders here and he should check in....we'll see! |

Scott, Still looks like rain tomorrow, but if things change, do you still want to go tomorrow? If you do, I'll call you in the morning to figure out if it's a go or not. Tunes, if I don't go Friday, maybe I'll go Saturday. Dan |

I'm out, doesn't look worth burning a vacation day......it was mostly for the ride - I already have a backpack I like and I'm not in the market for a new bike.... Start thinking about racing on either next friday night or saturday (18th and 19th)! |

Weather looks good so Saturday's a go for me... You want to stop/meet for breakfast or just meet and go? Too bad we'll miss Scott, Al and anyone else? |

Tunes, I have a morning meeting, but I can meet you somewhere at 11 if you want. I know it's late, but I totally forgot about the meeting. If that's too late, I can possibly make it earlier if need be. Dan |

I plan on being at Meredith between 9:30-10:00am... so that means I'm on the road by 8:00 - 8:30am. Demo ride a few... grab a "bag"... a ride to lunch & eat... backroads home. I've done this before, going to Meredith... It's a full day the way I plan it. You can change the whole day by taking the hwy both ways. It's a skosh over 1 hr. each way. |

Hi Kyle, there are some ME members around, but I am in the Seacoast area of NH. Last year's Bike Week we stayed at a members camp, but he is ill this year and may not have his camp available. If he is out, and no one else says "hey I've got a place with extra room", then I will skip staying up there this year. Doesn't really matter to me because a day trip up, walk around and buy a t-shirt is about all I need anyway. Though I might go to the vintage race in Laconia this year! I am more interested in planning some rides in ME, NH, VT and maybe even Nova Scotia and Quebec! How far up th coast are you? |

Hey Kyle, I'm in the Manchester area of NH, but we ride all over the place. We could all meet at a central location so that distance would be about equal for everyone. As for Laconia, I'm only planning on a day trip, probably the opening Sunday when crowds aren't too ridiculous. Those things are mainly for leather clad, chap wearers, that like to bar hop. I just want to show some Buell support, check out some bikes, do some people watching, eat, then head home. It would be nice to ride up there with some fellow Buellers for sure. Any way, welcome! On another note, I went to the Merideth Buell Demo day. The manager was there and I must say, their support for Buell is very good! They have a couple display buells inside including an XBRR behind glass, quite a few swag items, and a nice selection of new Buells. He said they had twice the turn out this year than last year! Unfortunately though, they weren't expecting that many people, so I missed out on the free messenger bag. There were HD guys and a bunch of sport-bike riders there going on multiple demo rides and complimenting how much they liked the bikes. The ride was pretty fun. Went on some twisties and even got to let it out a little. I rode a 12R and I must say, the stock exhaust is QUIET!! I could barely tell it was a twin! The new clutch felt like it wasn't even connected, I could pull it in with one finger! Pretty nice! The transmission felt a bit sticky though. I had to jam it into gear a couple of times. Overall, it was a good day for the brand. They let you pick whatever bike you wanted, ride as many times as you wanted, and were very nice too. |

Just a quick post to say "Thanks!" to everyone that contacted me regarding Buell dealers in NH. I'm proud to say I bought my new Uly a week ago Saturday from Meredith HD. I have to say it was a great experience from the test ride down to signing the bottom line and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a bike. Anyway, I think I've found a new addiction |

One day sounds good. I ride with a couple jap bikes in the area I will be comeing down with. I'm about an hour and 10 minutes from portland. puts me a couple hours from NH. Once I get moved and everything squared away with the bike I'll be ready to rock. Laconia will probibly be the time I meet you guys. We have a dyno day/bike show up here in the portland area on saturday the 9th if anyone is interested. i wanna see what the 12 throws down Cant wait to get out and ride....should have the bike this week if the banks get there *hit together. scott- let me know what you have planned, me and my brother plan on getting a lot of miles in this summer, he rides a couple year old Speed Triple fun bike too. |

Speed Triples are cool - I looked at the, I want to say 2nd generation models before buying the Buell. You are an hour and 10 minutes north of Portland? I have the kids on the 9th, besides - dynos are great for tuning, but if you just want to know how much power you are making then the dragstrip is a lot more fun than strapping your bike to a machine! |

Not me, family will be in town. Doing the touristy thing. I'm assuming you have the kids next weekend? If not, I'll probably see you then. Hey, Skiaddict, No problem, I went up to Meredith last weekend for the Buell demo. I must say, they are a really Buell supportive dealership! Enjoy the Uly! With this wet weekend stopping my/our riding time... maybe we can plan the next ride or bike week meeting day, time, and place? I'm hoping to take bike week off... Cgocifer - If I knew you were going to MHD, I would have waited up there for ya... I'm an insomniac... I usually sleep 4 or 5 hours a night... and I get up early... and when I'm awake, I have to be doing something. I drive my wife nuts buzzin' around the house. So, I usually get up early and meet folks later. Everyone wins... I have a new toy arriving tomorrow... an '03 XB9s. It has a D&D pipe on it. I hope it's not too loud... If so, I'll be lookin' to trade for a stock muffler or a Race muffler (LOL!). I'm still torn between the Special Ops and the Drummer, though. I'm lookin' forward to our next gathering! |

Looks very squidly, but I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. Probably consists mainly of youngsters with Buell-hater bikes. (Message edited by cgocifer on May 23, 2007) |

I have the kids, so other than possibly doing "errands" for an hour or two on the bike, I won't be riding.... if you like roundy-round racing, saturday would be a good night to go to Star Speedway in Epping. Besides their usual classes the New England Midget Assoc. will be there! |

Ya you basically park in a big field. Tons of people we need to get there at least 15 min before they even start so we can get a spot. Bring kick plates bc it is in fact a field. Theres a ice cream stand accross the st with hot dogs and all kinds of subs and stuff. so we can get food / dinner accross the way. If you go to that website abouve there should be a schedule of what events are happening what nights. Alot of hotties on bikes too which is a plus. |
