I have a 2006 XB12Ss Lightning Long. How do I get those plastic end caps off the end of the handlebars? Do I just yank them out with a pliers, or is there a "preferred method?" Something that won't damage them in the off chance I need to reuse them? |

yep they come right off through me for a little loop too. I just pulled them and put on the bar enders |

Preferred Handlebar end Removal Method: 1. wrap ends with three layers of electrical tape. 2. Grip gently with common pliers. 3. Thoughtfully wriggle whilst gently pulling. 4. Unwrap bar ends. 5. Throw tape in trash. 6. Throw unmarked bar ends in Trash. 7. Dispose of trash in a manner that respects the environment. 8. Order a pair of HVMP stainless bar ends. Any questions?

Well actually... instead of HVMP stainless bar ends, I was looking at a set of Napoleon mirrors... |
