What are the two blank "idiot light" spots in the gauge cluster for?

Was there ever anything there on other models? Is it a Uly only thing?

I only thought there was one blank spot.

I was thinking of using the blank location for a fan light. I have a hard time telling when my fan is running. The Fan Light would really help out. It's really hard to be annoyed by the fan, when you don't know it's on.

If there is a second blank spot, I'd like to add a Fan-Light Light, to let me know that my Fan Light is on, because if the Fan Light isn't bright enough, I might have a hard time knowing my fan is on.

Although, a Bank Angle Exceedance Light might also be useful. I've been left lying in the middle of the road, trying to figure out exactly what happened. A warning light sure could help to clear up some things.

Maybe a No Fuel Light would be nice?

Ooh, ooh, how about a 50% Fuel Remaining Light? My wife's Multistrada has one of these, and I think stopping for gas 80 miles before you need to is a fantastic value-added feature for people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Maybe I should re-read the owners manual, because it might be the Espresso Low indicator; the manual isn't very well written.

How about a No Electrical Power Light?

I'd like a light that forecasts strange behavior patterns, like a..."you're about to do something stupid" light.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Maximum,

I have one of those. It's the little light that comes on when you turn the key.

I modified my "about to farkle" light so that it didn't come on.

No sense alerting the wife. ;)

Its a real indicator!

It turns on green when the chain is stretched or needs to be lubed, and turns on yellow when it's time for your valve adjustment.

I have mine hooked up to a head on collision sensor. This way I get a little warning and have a chance to kiss my ass goodbye. The other is hooked up to a jealousy sensor and comes on when other bikers see my sh-t eating grin. I had to replace the bulb 3 times already.
