Hey Jose! I plan to go direct to Baltimore on Sat. 5/19. I hope it doesn't rain! Plan to be there by 9 or 10 AM. There is a (private?) lunch planned for Buell guys and gals upstairs at the dealer on Sat. Scott in service is putting it together. See you there. Brian |

I just want to say thanks again to Scott over at Baltimore HD for providing lunch to the Buell owners. On a different note, I think we hit a tropical storm surge on the unofficial Buell "seven sisters" ride. I don't know where that rain and wind came from but it was bone dry at my house. I hope the weather holds for the races at Summit Point next weekend. |

Thanks to Scott and everybody else at Baltimore HD/Buell for putting on such a cool event. If you missed it today they will still be doing Demo Rides Tommorow, 11 am to 2 pm. The Buell backpack is the best one yet, once I figure out what to do with that 'extra' strap...... |

we also did the seven sisters after the demos ride today. the cagers were in full force though could not really enjoy them to the fullest. scott thanks for putting together the lunch it was nice to meet some local buell riders. puc_it hope you enjoy your new ride as much as the rest of us do. i am sure you will come to understand why we chose buell over anything else. one of the riders with us that has a fz-1 said his bike handles like a tank compared to the yellow 12r he was on today. maybe next demo ride we can stay away from the traffic and experience some sweet roads. i rode the black 12r and other than being hunched over the tank the bike was great. would liked to have put it through some twisties though. if anyone get out towards carroll county look me or twintour up, we know of some real nice roads out here and further west. buell on |

Paul I was at Ft Washington today I think I saw your bike waiting in the delivery area, You'll have fun on that! We meet at 10 am the first Saturdays of each month at Ft. Washington to shoot the bull then go for a ride. Join is anytime. Rob, Nice to see you, hope to see you again soon. Rick, That was pretty freaky wasn't it? Trying to turn while simultaneously correcting for the wind gusts and trying to avoid the debris blowing across the road was an interesting challenge. After we crossed the 895 tunnel it cleared up but the traffic was a mess going south on the Parkway. NEXT MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY, THUNDERBIKES AT SUMMIT POINT!!! SEE YOU THERE! Please, add my thanks also to Buell 920 (Scott) at Baltimore Buell/HD for the Demo event and lunch. Scott, pass our thanks to the staff there at the dealership. It was a great event. Glad to see so many new faces there trying out the new Buells. I talked to a few guys and there was nothing but positive comments. Most people were very surprised what the bikes can do. We might have some new "converts". Welcome to "PUC_IT" and "Vxsarin" I hope to see you guys at future meetings and events. Brian |

Most people were very surprised what the bikes can do. You'd think Buells were your grandma's bike the way some have been talking in other threads on the BadWeb. I know some said they were going to Summit Point next Monday for the races but how about a show of hands. Perhaps, the Baltimore area contingent can swing through Frederick and meet up with Ras, etc. |

I'll be there Friday, riding.. If you make it up there then, I'll be pitting with some of the Buell racers that will be running two days later... Sunday and Monday photographing... Just look for the 'Black Hat'.. and the camera sticking out from under it on the race dates.. |

I'm not happy about missing out the demo rides @ Baltimore, I had to work all weekend thanks to a "catastrophic failure" on a key server @ work. Sounds like everyone had a good time. Welcome to the family Puck_it, hope to go riding with you sometime. Res-Ride: I'm meeting people @ HD of Frederick @ 8am. We're leaving HD and head towards Chambersgburg to pick up Randy. He had a decent route to Altoona last year. Once we get to Altoona, "Toona" will lead us through the reservoirs. I have to call Randy and Dan to work out the timing, but I plan on being back @ Summit Point before dark. I'm camping there til Monday. I'll post more info after I talk to Dan and Randy. |

Hey Guys, Sorry I missed out on the Demo rides. My brother had the nerve to get married last weekend. Though both of us were itching to get on the road watching guys go by on I-66. At least we got a last hurrah last Friday riding with our sister all through Baltimore and Harford Counties. Because this weekend is the only weekend I won't be travelling between April and August, I'm going to stay at home and do stuff that needs to get done, so I have to pass on the res ride. I see you keep mentioning the seven sisters. Did I miss something? What is that route? I did do a poker run a few weeks ago, and it gave us a nice 70 mile course that offers a variety of hills, twisties and slab. So in the off chance I have a day free, drop me a line, and we can hit that up. Chris |

Congrats! The break-in period sucks, make sure you follow the recommendations. After 1k service, you're good to go! If you went on the res ride you'd make a serious dent on those 1k miles. |

The break in period is ok for me. I'm getting used to riding today. Coming up South Capital over the grate bridge was enough to make me wet my pants for now Not to mention, I'm sure you don't want a newb slowing you guys down (Message edited by vxsarin on May 22, 2007) |

Steve, How did you like it? Ramon Saturday I'll probably be at Ft Washington volunteering for their open house. I might play hooky and join you guys but it is not likely at this point. You'll know if I meet you at Frederick at 8 am. Sunday I would like to be at the track but the boss wants some "we" time riding by ourselves. I'll lead the ride Monday Morning. |

Jose, I'll look for you saturday, the finance lady screwed up my registration, so I have to go in and resign the DC registration papers. Rolling with this paper temp tag is really cramping the buell's style. I hit up Coleman's for a bike cover today, and had TWO people come up and say they were looking at getting a buell in the 30 minutes I was there. *thumbs up* |

I got to ride the Spyder too. Interesting, very interesting. Steve, cool getting to see you there. Does it fit me? Check out those headlights on the vehicle pointed directly at the camera... reminds me of the XBR headlights.
