Hey Kristi, The people that contracted me said "we're out by Kings Island." That wasn't much help and I was very surprised to learn that they had islands. I've got the directions on my BB to the facility. |

You're right up by Carlos' brother's house in Mason. It's a nice area up there. Used to be lots of farmland, now it's new office complexes, shopping and lots of $$ housing developments. King's Island has it's own Eiffel Tower! We used to fly hot air balloons out of that area. |

FB - I am still working on the XB12XAD. The family is going to my father-in-law's place up in Gladesboro VA in the mountains just north of Winston Salem NC for the Memorial Day Weekend. I hope to have the Uly on the road by then, if not the M2 will be on tour duty. So we will miss each other by a weekend. I am planning to ride somewhere on July 20th. It's my B-day and I have a free three day weekend. I was hoping to talk Webe and Jim N into an adventure west with me that weekend but they do not know that yet. Webe and I would like to pull something off in the east around Kerr lake on the NC/VA border. We are still planning that ride that we would like to do somewhere in mid-June. |

Come westward, young man! I wish you were going to be around. Looks like ChadHargis and I are going to be heading up on that Friday. Wish you were going to be there. You won't get to see the XB12XS conversion. |

Carlos - I think thats the day I have to bring my daughter back from summer camp. If I had a way to get her luggage home, I'd bring her on the bike. As it is, I believe I'll be in the car that day. Thanks for thinking of me though. |

1313, whatever it is it makes less torque than my bike but more horsepower..... Buell? Unfortunately, or fortunately if you're a fan of torque (and which one of us ain't?), Nope. 1313, I hope it's that 1000 cc thumper in a 225 lb chassis I've been waiting for years to show up Not even close. Hell, the powerplant in that bike (1130 cc's, which is probably the only hint I need to give) probably weighs more than 225 lbs itself. But it is a water cooled, 4 valve per cylinder, DOHC, fuel injected V-Twin. That's right, it's the V-Rod...
Well, today it became official. The travel requisition was approved by all Der Fuehrer's. After a 4 year and 4 month break I will be going to Berlin for work in Early June. What a coincidence that I will stay the entire following week and be able to attend the BORG (Buell Owner and Repair Group) Midsummermeeting. My buddy Frank (with the awesome X1) already has a M2 lined up for me to use during the MSM. And to finish it off on my last Sunday in Germany I will be checking out Marilyn Manson at The Woodstage Festival! Good thing I will have a good 10 hours of travel time home on Monday the 18th to get some sleep. There will definitely be a report posted in the Tale Section about this one! I'm psyched as all get out! Frank thinks it's cool I will be attending the MSM, just as I thought it was cool that he came over to the States a couple of years ago for Homecoming. With that said, does anyone need anything from Germany? Keep in mind the exchange rate SUCKS (today 1 Euro = 1.3494 USD, so to give an idea a 500 Euro item would cost $674.70) and my luggage doesn't offer unlimited space, but the motorcycle shops over there have some damn cool stuff! I know of a couple items that I will probably pick up for use on my next Buell, but if I am able to pack right I will be going over with an empty 2nd suitcase. Hein-Gericke has 3 locations in Berlin. I saw my first 999 Ducati (& got to sit on it) at the Hein-Gericke Berlin-Wilmersdorf store in 2002. Hein-Gericke Louis also has 3 locations in Berlin. Louis Rock on! 1313 |

No, they rode the M2 and Uly over. Needless to say, the Buell boys looked the bike over pretty well. Carlos says it runs great, but needs some cosmetic clean up. It's a 2003 with 5500 miles, we're currently at $1,200. We've also found that Ventura makes a rack for the Blast. We could just switch the bag from the M2 to the Blast as needed. With the extra cash from the Uly, better gas mileage, less expensive tires, it would make a great little work commuter. It would also be great to have once Carlee is 16. She drops a Blast she'll have a easier time picking it up than the M2 and less HP and only $1,200 invested. It also has the low seat, which means if I really wanted to try it, I could actually flat foot it! Like you said sometime ago, it hurts your feelings less to drop a $1,200 bike versus a $10,000 bike. |

Just got back from a last minute trip to Myrtle Beach Bike Rally, saw so many Buells, I quit counting!!!!! Went to SuckBangBlow Saturday night and they needed someone to do the last burnout for bike week 2007, sooooo I jumped on the lil RedOne and on the way to the pit, another Bueller from Cincinatti, OH joined in and we 'smoked a fatty' as SBB likes to call it. I guess two 180's are equal to a 360 tire right?!!! Post pics when I get a chance AZ is waiting! |

He still has the Buell. He says it hurts his ankle if he stays on it too long, so he got the cruiser for longer stuff. |

Is his ankle still hurt from the mustang crash? I know he was fairly banged up from that. My dad still has an '01 Road Star (although he's talking about selling it). I'm not usually a fan of "metric" cruisers, but the Road Stars are wonderful as far as cruisers go. I'd really like to ride one of the new 1854cc, 110ft-lb Roadliners. |
