Hey guys, sorry I've been missing all the conversations...I spent today doing the family rounds. Tomorrow I'll be out on the bike in the afternoon with the girlfriend - heading to the North End Pub in Oxford on 56 between 12 & 20, just south of Sheldons in Auburn. Probably be there around 1 or 2 if you guys are riding up in the north area...great wings for little money...lots of bikers...I'll have my cell if anybody is in the area 508-320-4625. |

Nate - Don't know your schedule but I'll be down in Taunton for my aunts funeral on Tuesday. I'll probably be done with that around 1:00 or so and will be looking to take a ride after that. I figured I'd check if that is a day off or a night shift day for you...let me know. Anybody else in the Taunton to Tiverton area interested??? |

Greg im in for tomorrow, but not really sure how to get there. you can take the 495/140 route. But i'll be leaving here at 9...if 'ya wanna pass by here.I'm sore and a little tired from yesterdays' mountainbiking excursion to Acadia.I rode with a mountainbiking instructor, who offered pointers. It was very technical terrain.Lemme know what you decide Nate |

Guys, I am going to have to bail out on today. My girlfriend and I had a rather long argument about how I would rather ride my bike then spend time with her on Mother's Day. I'm sure you could imagine how much fun this is going to be now. During the course of this argument, just about every possible thing she could complain about was covered. Wow, I didn't know that I sucked this bad as a father and a boyfriend. Well, I guess I'll have to wait until next Sunday to be irresponsible and selfish. |

Dude that sucks! Way back when I was married, I was not worthy because I bought her potted flowers and a card on Mother's Day, just like I did for my own Mother. The problem you ask? Apparently if I am already at the plant stand and Hallmark store to buy stuff for my Mom, it doesn't count! Good luck! |

Oh yeah,i had a great ride today Scott! We got lost a couple times but found some more COOL roads.THe Vanilla Bean was fun and funny to bump into John Sweeney, the director of Larz Anderson Museum in his vintage Jaguar.WOW is he a celebrity, what,as an owner of a pristine 1989 RRBattletwin. One of like 20 made? And with all of our fellow riders who bailed,i have to admit that I almost blew it off.Glad i didn't leave you hanging,it was great fun...C'ya next week when we'll celabrate your birthday. |

Another well-lead ride Greg. Sorry the rest of you guys couldn't join in, but you gotta give some love to the Moms. And the wives. Especially the wives; they're the ones who approve new bike purchases! Anyhow, I did manage to tracklog the ride today. If you got Google Earth, launch these files: In the "Places" sidebar, expand the file, select "The Track" and hit the play button. Happy virtual riding. Yeah, I'm a geek. |

You've got right-click it, select "save as," and overwrite the ".unk" (unknown, because BadWeb doesn't know what it is) with ".kmz". Then it'll work. I hope. |

I wanna ride!!!!!! This GREAT weather has put me in a slump with NO bike. I should be all set by next weekend with my shock back in it's place on the bike. Installing some HID lights while the bike is down. I WILL be able to see at night!!!! Buell seems to have swept that "RECALL" under the rug.....I can't wait for them, so the fabrication has started. |

Firebolt- Give us a link for your HID source. I've been contemplating that upgrade for a few weeks now. Greg- watching LWR myself tonight. I want to get on the bike and go around the planet tomorrow. Any takers? Oh yeah... maybe not. I'm tapped out on vaca time. Stupid job. |

These are the HID's I went with, I had no problem getting the low beam but the High beam and connectors were a bitch to find.... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/41556.html |

http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/HID-Headlight- Conversion-Kit-p-18322.html Here is another option I almost went with....The only reason I didn't was because this kit uses the original glass housings which in my opinion are half the lighting issue.... I wanted the new glass housings from the other kit and did not care if my bike looks like it has glasses on...lol |

Yea I was waiting for something to happen with the lighting recall from buell, after Jim got his reflectors I thought something was about to happen.....(I was getting ready to do this mod way back then)..But here I am now and no word on anything about a recall. So my mind was made up once I had some down time.... all I can say on this is "Buell drops the ball once again".... I think my safety is worth the short amount of cash/time for this mod. I live in a woody area and I like to be able to see things at night since there are not alot of street lights around my area. |

Bracket should be here this week. He sent it out on Friday. Just have to make a brake line that's 4 inches longer. I already have the caliper at home. Ordered a new helmet yesterday. Wasn't feeling all that good about the modular that I have so I went with a real full face.

Jpb........ He is right on 44. It is diagonally across from the Video Expo, I think that's the name of the XXX store. It's after Silver City Ford (on the same side) but before the Middleboro rotary. Apollo Pools & Spa, I think that's the name. |
