I have an 05 XB12R
Magura Hydraulic Clutch Kit from American Sport Bike
Muller Clutch
Baker shift drum
the rest of the tranny is oem or stock

So I'm taking the CSMP Advance class yesterday and we're on/off the clutch like crazy every few seconds. about 2 hours into the 5 hour class the clutc lever gets really hard, like it was with the stock cable. Also, when you pull the lever you can feel a resistance. I can only compare it to squezing a rubber raquetball ball that has a hole in it.

I checked the oil, that was ok.
Checked the ruber part on the clutch lever, that was fine.

So any ideas?

Sorry to be a pain in the as*. For those of you that know me or my bike, if it wasnt for BadWeb and American Sport Bike my bike would have been long sold and Buell Abandond.

Does anyone know someone in SoCal that I can take my XB to do a full tune up and they wont charge an arm and a leg?

I would recommend Bartels' in Marina Del Rey as that is the dealer I frequent, but they charge standard shop rates. Used to be $75 an hour, don't know what it is now. So whether that is more than what your arm and leg is worth, I don't know. Waddya say?

Sparky,
I take it there good with Buells?
I just havn't heard of any service shop (American Sport Bike is not a service shop) that does good work when it comes to Buells. Stock, I've heard some are ok, but when you've started modifying stuff then forget it.

I'll check them out one day. we'll see
