I know this probably isnt the best choice for a first post but here goes nothing! I would like to trade my bike for an XB12R. 06 Built/Titled Rigid ShovelHead * Fresh Rebuild with S&S components * Crane HI4 Single Fire Ign/Coil * Paughco 38deg 2 1/4" frame * Paughco 4 over springer * 16" Rear 21" Front * Cycle Shack 2" Drag pipes * Black Magic Powdercoat on everything. Tons of other things, any questions I can answer, I built it myself after a tour in Iraq. Reason I want to trade it - I have a herniated disk, and riding a rigid is like sitting on a jackhammer. Also sick and tired of the "chopper" scene, which this bike has nothing to do with, but I continually get associated with it and it makes me nauseous. Anyways located in Wichita Kansas after the 14th of May ( Getting out of the Army!!!) .

My friend has a CBR 929 RR that he might be interested in trading... I'll have to let him know about it. |

74" 1200cc or 80" 1340cc Shovel, what year are the cases, looks like it has electric start. Primary drive a belt or chain, open or closed? Got an S&S carb, B, G or E? or just a look-a-like breather? I got a couple of XB's: 2005 XB12R Firebolt 2004 XB12R Firebolt 2003 XB9S with X stuff In Tulsa, OK. |

Cases are 1978. Its got the S&S internals i believe its called an "83FL Kit" . Flywheels, rods and pistons - 74" bore .60 over with the stroke increased by way of the flywheels = 83" Its a super E - Do people actually do that? Chain primary, enclosed - without the factory oiler. I run 750cc of RevTech primary lube instead. Does have electric start, but the kicker is still there and in fact thats all I use right now cause the switch needs replaced. |

Yeah, some people put tear drop breathers on CV's and Kehein's and such. What is your bike worth? I would consider doing some trading on the 2004, it has 13,000 miles on it. Post a couple more pics if you got them. Thanks |

Which of your bikes was wrecked when you bought it? I dont know what it is worth per se, as much as I know what Ive got it it... Im pretty much just looking to get away from the whole scene, and while im sure ive got almost twice what your bike was new in it, its a buyers market. If you look on ebay youd be disgusted with amount of money old shovelheads go for.

more pics
BTW the date stamps on these pictures are completely wrong, new camera couldnt get the date/time to stay saved. So these pics that say they are from 2004 are actually from oct-sep 2006 right before i brought it to colorado. Best part, no flak from insurance companies about "shop built" or "custom built" titles... |
