might look cool if you had the wing turn into flames at the end but that's just my 2 cents |

Just my opinion, but I think the huge Buell frame looks best naked. If anything, I'd have smaller pegasus (sp?) logos down near the footpeg/frame junction. And I mean small. Like Ducatis, Buells have a mechanical simplicity that does not need decals and boy-racer graphics to look good. Again, just my opinion. |

+1 Lose 'em. Also, for a really clean and mechanical look, lose the airbox decals as well. Decals on a bike are equivalent to big, ridiculous wings, coffee can exhausts, and tons of plastic body parts on a tuner car. Oh, they don't make it go any faster either. I think the frame looks best clean. Something small on the swing arm might look nice though. -Brady |

Anyone else just find funny the irony that the pic of the buell there has the bikin' equivalent of a coffee can exhaust and only has plastic body work?... no wings though, you got me there. i agree with the other posts too, except i like the buell decals on the airbox, though i did remove the "merican sportbike" |

A pegasus that size would look good on the side of a full fairing like mine if that was the only logo. A smaller version instead of the airbox Buell text would look good on your bike. About 4-5 inches long or so. But that's just my opinion. (Message edited by diablobrian on May 13, 2007) |

What you think of them is the only important thing. If you don't like them though... I'd agree with you. |

here's how I put the logos on my bike and they do make it go faster. They were laser cut in then wire meshed for support. They make a huge difference in air flow and sound.

"Anyone else just find funny the irony that the pic of the buell there has the bikin' equivalent of a coffee can exhaust and only has plastic body work?... no wings though, you got me there." Well, as for the coffee can exhaust, since there aren't that many aftermarket exhausts available for the XB that reduce weight and provide improved airflow through the engine at a reasonable price, the Jardine was a nice choice for me. Also, since Jardine is a prominent exhaust provider for AMA Superbike teams, I figured the can would work for me just fine. Oh, did I mention that Jardine is an American company? Thanks for your comments though. (Message edited by cgocifer on May 15, 2007) |
