Has anyone purchased the extended warranty, and is there a deadline (like before the first two years expires)? Also, where do you find information about it, can't remember where I saw it. Thanks in advance |

When I bought my Firebolt the dealer said that you can purchase the extended anytime before the two years runs out. He did say that it gets pricier and pricier the closer you get to the two year mark. |

984gasm, I was a little upset when I found out about the cost of extending the warranty but I did it anyway. The extension actually covers you from the date of purchase even if you don't buy it right away. So don't think you can extend your coverage for 3yrs. after owning it for the initial two---you will have to buy the five year coverage to get another three out of it. Seems like a marketing gimic but I am financing the bike and I really don't want to be paying on a bike that is broke in my garage because I can't afford to fix it... Your best bet is to talk to the salesman at your dealership.Hope that helps.Steve |
