Tell you what I can do for you, you tell me whats wrong and where on the seat its bothering you and I can redo it. Mine came out great and I can now ride it forever w/no problems. |

Hate to say it as I was considering bidding on it -- but there is a Corbin solo seat on e-bay right now ... Another Corbin solo seat just sold Sunday ... but it went for over 200 (near mint, like new) The one listed now is in good condition .. don't be surprised if it goes for the same or close to it ... There is always buying new from Corbin as well... but that won't even be close to reasonable |

Here you go. Corbin S1 solo. Used, but not abused. If you want it to be perfect, you'll have to deal with the bubble, but that's the only defect. $100 plus shipping from Houston, TX. edited to add: There's a 1" split on the back seam, right in the middle. You can see it on the picture. rt (Message edited by road_thing on May 08, 2007) |

My guy has and can do as good or better than any seat maker out there, hell I've seen him improve on the famous "CORBIN" seats. If anyone is interested just give me a call@ 661 979 0711, ask 4 Wayne. |

hey guys,i appreciate all the quick responses. _tatoo-i actually brought the sunday bid to 200.00,but lost out.that seat on right now dont look as near good condition,so ill have to watch till the end.looks like itll top close to 200 also. 98s1-seems the seats either not quite wide enough and it pushes me towards the tank under 45mph.puts a squeeze on "Dee's boys". how much did you pay to redo factory seat? could difenitly be an optian.ill see if i can give wayne a call. rt-i think ill really consider your offer.let me give a call and look at my options.how did you find the corbin seat compaired to the factory seat? thank ya much fellas again.im new to this site and was figuring id have to wait on ebay for somthing reasonable.this difinitly helps. |

The Corbin is flatter than than the stock seat, it doesn't have that crown in the middle. Ping me from my profile and I'll e-mail you my phone # if you want to talk. rt |

Something else to consider is the factory "Euro" solo seat. Yes, there were 2 solos. The "Euro" puts you way back, the "behind the driver" part is only about an inch long and there's no real ridge. I have the euro on my S1W. I'm 6'4". My wrists start to hurt after about 3 hours (Crossroads clipons), but my butt (and Da Boyz) are just fine...and no hitching back because of constant forward slide. email me at racer-x@erols.com and I'll look up the OEM part number for ya...and IIRC they're still available from the factory. |
