On the website at the top of the thread there is a link to installation instructions near the bottom of the page. This is my version. Basically: remove 3 bolts holding gages to dash assembly. disconnect cable from gages (there is a latch under the rubber boot remove 8 or so #2 phillips screws from the back of the gage face around the perimeter. Then remove the 2 in the center holding the gages into the box. now the trickiest part: pull the needles firmly but gently straight out of the gages. Then just peel the face plate off of the housing. A hairdryer will help soften the adhesive. re-assembly is just the reverse. |

FYI, I've created a full set of faceplate install instructions with photos. The link on the site in the 'How Do I Install It' section now works. http://www.pdgmoto.com Thanks! (Message edited by typeone on May 06, 2007) |

Clinton's instructions are better than mine by far, and the pics rock! Have no fear people, (Rob Schnieder bayou accent) you can do it....you can do it all night long! |

great news! i've been talking with my printer this morning, they're going to work with me to allow more design variation in a single run using the same palette. this is a HUGE plus. by the end of the day I should have detail on the additional variations that will be available... KPH will be one of them, as will a cleaner design without flames. |

Terrys, lookin' good! thanks for the offer but i'm steering clear of anything that uses 'Buell', 'XB', etc. due to trademark violation. also keeping things very simple regarding color palette and graphics, clear numbers were really my only concern for this limited run (other than the hooligan option, of course) great work on your site too!! |
