Well, we went to Tooele, Ut this past weekend and rode Miller Motorsports race track for riding2savelives. WOW!!! There were only a couple of other buells but didn't see them on the track. Mostly rice burners. What a blast. I now only have about 1/4" of chicken strip on the L side of my tire and about 1/2" on the right side. It was somewhat intimidating at first with all the guys screaming past me in the high pitched bikes. Only a few other women on the track. It was divided into 2 tracks with the racers on one and the street on the other and was changed out every half hour. Weather kind of sucked on Sat, very cold and rainy at times. Sunday was beautiful. Unfortunately the photographers didn't get any good pictures . Anyway, they did raise $70,000 for benefit for kids. Great cause and.... Now I'm hooked on doing the track some more!! |

I wondered if the weather would mess up the weekend. Man it was cold! Are you doing the Sept 6th Inside Pass Buell day? http://buell.com/en_us/news_events/insidepass/mill er2.asp |

Probably not going to the one in Sept as am planning on going to Las Vegas the first weekend in October for the Femmoto event. Women only so that may be very fun, not that I didn't enjoy being with the guys. Just talked to my hubby and he said that we might come out but that we'd fly this time. The drive out there was brutal. (Message edited by jumpinjewels on May 08, 2007) |
