After a weekend ride the shock on my 2002 S3T is leaking. How is this repaired? Is a rebuild kit available? From who? Must the entire shock be replaced? |

Any reputable suspension outfit can redo it. |

I'm sure you know, but these all had this problem and should have been addressed under recall. I went through two shocks, replaced each time under warranty years outside the bikes original warranty. |

I don't think 2001-2 models with the short shock fell under the shock replacement recall. You can get the Showa rebuilt, but you'd still have a crappy shock. I got a used Penske and it made me a true believer in quality dampers. The difference in control is amazing, more than I thought possible with just a shock change. The stock Showa is junk. |
