we have been meeting on the second saturday each month. that would make the next one on the 14th. we haven't seen skeeter for so long !! please come join us!!! |

Second Saturday... That's good because this Saturday is going to be cold anyhow!
Due to the overwhelming response to the logo idea, I've decided to get lick-n-stick tatoos made for anybody that wants them!
Just let me know how many you'll be needing, so I can relay that to my supplier. I'll need to know soon, so that our order doesn't get stuck behind the gumball vendor's massive, first of the month order.
Har1ey & Wademan have already requested a one-month supply. I'm sure those of us that do get them would probably share with those less fortunate in case you miss the deadline. |

sorry, chad. we miss our absent members at the meetings, but certainly understand.
since good weather will be back soon, we need to get together when you, ryan, and dan can make it.
would you be able to bring some rpgs, 50 cal guns, flamethrowers, or other cool stuff that we taxpayers could play with ??? |

Thats probably a good idea Chad......they get kinda antsy when sensitive items go missing. Remind me to tell you sometime about the 65 sets of night vision goggles that got stolen from an armor battalion at Ft. Hood when I was there.....talk about a SNAFU! |

RIDErs, I have something serious to ask. I have a friend that is getting out of a really bad situation. Shes trying to save her teenage daughter from being surrounded by some really negative influences. Shes moving into her own place with her little girl this weekend, but she has almost nothing. I'm doing what I can to help her, but there is only so much that I can do. If anyone can spare anything, furniture, clothes, old appliances, dishes, anything at all let me know what it is. I will see if it is something she needs, and if it is I will come to you and get it no matter where it is. I know she has a couch, but thats all I know for certain. They do have clothes but not very much. Any help would be appreciated. |

This seems pretty cool. It's not a cruiser event. Most of these riders are sport-tourers. Some are coming for the weekend from as far away as California to have a hamburger in Moonshine, IL. Not your typical poker run. haha. As of right now, I have to work that weekend but am gonna try to get Saturday off.

Hello all fellow RIDE'ers. As I had posted earlier, I have an SRC class on the 14th and will be at the range, unable to attend the meeting. As usual, you all are more than welcome to use the dealership facilities, but your on your own.
The latest news on the race rig is the motorhome was found, not far from where it was taken. Naturally all the electronics were gone, tv's, lap-top's, etc.., but there was minimal damage to the rig it's self. The trailer, however, containing the bikes, gear, tools, etc..., are gone. Jeff is working on a bike deal and replacing essentials as to be able to race at St. Louis at the end of the month. We will make the AHDRD St. Louis event so plan on a group ride to see us race April 28-29, 2007.

once again, it is time for the monthly meeting. as usual, the meeting will be held at 12:00pm at harley davidson-buell of bloomington in the conference room.
the weather looks iffy, but meeting to talk about future events and rides is a good excuse to get together.
try to make it if you can. bring friends and/or relatives. owners and associates of any brand of moto are welcome. the more people we have in our group, the more likely we all are to have friends to ride with when the spirit so moves..... |

Hi again everyone. I've been meaning to try and get ahold of you guys for a while now. Since getting my bike back out I've had a couple issues that's put me in a bind. My bike is at the shop (HD Buell of Bloomington) getting repaired and hopefully it'll be done soon. I now get Saturdays off so I should be able to show myself at the next meeting.
My bike has been in the shop for three weeks now and hopefully it'll be coming out soon. |

hello everyone,
i am starting communications about the may meeting early this time. we haven't been having much of a turnout at our meetings. some of us thought that moving the meeting around to different places would mix things up a bit.
here is the idea for may. the 12th is the date for our meeting. how about meeting at the motorcycle parking lot at the indianapolis motor speedway at 11:00 am? that would give us time to gather and then go find some seats to watch pole qualifying for the 500. admission is $10. the practice action starts at 9:00 am and goes until 11:00am. it is a fun day. we would have plenty of time to hang out and talk. we can ride afterward.
if that doesn't appeal to you, what does? please post on our spot on the badweb so everyone can communicate and figure out what to do about the meeting. please don't blow this off till later.....we need to decide what to do asap

FYI: Todd and I will not be at the May meeting if you go to the track.
How about meeting somewhere to eat breakfast, and then go on a ride. There are numerous places that we could go to: Cracker Barrell, Burger King, Hardees, etc.
Sorry we have missed the last few meetings; my health has not been good.

May 12th is the Harley-Davidson/Buell of Bloomington Demo Day. Whatever you do or where ever you gather remember to RIDE!
I do have a proposal I have been thinking over. We are now in a position to use the United Sport Bike Association name as the club (group, gang...whatever) name. I already have an established and re-designed website (www.rideusba.com), logo etc.. We are in the process of updating all the sites information and could incorporate the club material very easily. Everyone could become members of USBA. Previously we could not use the USBA name as we were associated with not only Buell but HDB which does not effect us now that we are not a "sponsored" or affiliated group. Just a thought or something to think about. Let me know your thoughts.

I'll vote +1 for whatever is the most popular.
As far as the club meeting and doing something different or someplace different... sounds good to me.
If it'd work for everyone else, we could ride in either, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Haines, Juneau, Ketchikan, Seward, Sitka or possibly even Skagway. If that isn't feasible, then Heather & I will have to catch up with you all next time. ...Even if we didn't ride, we could still at least have breakfast?
If anyone wants to send a Zip-loc with me, I'd be happy to bring them back a bit of glacier souvenir! |

USBA sounds good to me. I wont make this months meeting because of training in Indy to be a rider coach.
