All,
Is there anyway possible to bypass the Bank Angle Sensor on my 00' Lightning? I have the VDTS Program and this useless sensor is showing "DEAD SHORT TO BATTERY" and it's not, it's just gone bad. Bike runs without it, but leaves the problem light on.

You could unplug it and see if the bike will run. If it won't jumper the connection at the plug and try again.

Littlefield,
Bike runs fine, it causes the trouble light on the instrument panel to stay on. I can clear it, and it comes right back. I could buy a new one, but if I can bypass it I would rather. It serves no real purpose.

The BAS is connected to the wiring by a three pole plug, poles marked by the letters A, B, C,.

A and B lead to one of the two plugs of the ignition module (entrance and exit?), C is mass. With plug taken off from the BAS the Buell does not ignite. You got to bridge ports A and B there: The engine runs.
On injection models the cable bridge will be recognized as a sensor-failure by the ECM(trouble code 44).Ignition controll lamp will glow.
