Anybody have any recommendations for crash protectors/frame savers for a 2002 M2? Not that I'm planning on crashing or anything... |

LSL makes some nice frame sliders. Other than that adapting a set of axle sliders for the rear wouldn't be a bad idea. A quality set of bar end sliders would help, too. Nobody plans on crashing...it just happens. |

There are only two kinds of motorcycle riders, those that have wrecked and those that are going to wreck. Unfortunately I'm one of the former rather than the latter. But I can rest easier now that it's out of the way |

I think I saw some on American Sportbike site (one of our sponsors) but if I rememeber they were a bit pricy. |

the LSL bits are first rate gear -- very nicely made, and worth the dough, IMO -- I ran em on the MaDeuce for a couple of years, and was very pleased -- I never tested em (phew), but i've SEEN em tested, and they worked very well |

I've "tested" them on a highside, a lowside, and losing the front on the brakes (tends to hit very hard) over the past few years. They work as intended. The best result was an incident when my wife forgot to put the sidestand down after riding it. The bike hardly had a scratch on it. Saved both of us from a lot of heartache!
