Will S3 saddlebags - or at least the outer part - fit on an S2? Reading old P&A catalogs they specify only 97-up for fitment of the S3 stuff, but the description and photos look like they'd physically fit on an S2: "easy release three point mounting system". Has anyone tried this? | ||

There's 2 different hinge configurations. One is a pin type hinge and the other is a drop in type. My 02 came with the drop in type hinges. Don't know what year they changed styles | ||

With the proper saddlebag bracket (that Buell came out with long after S2 production ceased) the S3 bags will mount on a S2.   1313  |
