You can park over with us. up against the chain link fence separating the parking from the staging lane is the typical place for bikes not being raced to park.... Good for you that your fiance' wants to ride! I won't date a woman (or at least won't date her for long!) if they won't ride with me..... |

Al, I'll meet you guys at MHD and get some breakfast with you. After that, I'll have to head home to pick up the Fiance for a shindig with her parents. At least I'll be able to meet a couple of Buellers in person. Met up with a bunch of squids at a gas station today. Those kids were idiots! No respect and definitely not safe riders. See ya at MHD, dan |

I tried to make it to the track, but I over slept. 11.66 isn't too shabby after a long winter. Probably much better than what I could pull off on my XB12. |

We'll have to do it again, I agree!! It was nice putting names to faces!
Here's a pic of the group kickin' tires... (The harley crowd had just left. I didn't want them in the picture!) Al, Scott, & Dano. (Tunes is hiding behind the camera!) Bikes - Dano's black XB12s; Tunes red XB12s; Al's yellow X1; Scott's black S3 Maybe next time we can get more riders!! Great ride, great weather and great people! Ya can't beat that combination! |

It was great meeting you guys too! We will definitely have to do some more riding! I've been debating with myself whether I should post the rest or not, but have decided to post the short version because I don't know if we will be hearing from Al in the next couple of days. He is alright, but did have a low side on RT. 107 in those tight 90 degree s turns at the Rt. 4 end. That really fine, almost talcum like sand in the road bit him, and he almost saved it but, in the end, went down. His left hip is sore and the bike suffered a broken mirror and shifter - that's it! Ride safe, I'm off to NYC until Thursday, but will check in as able.... |

Oh man! Al, hope you aren't too sore tomorrow! This time of year, the sand still lingers. That really sucks! Hey, if that was a full faired bike, it would have been a few hundred dollars damage. Buells are pretty sturdy machines. Well, at least Al walked away. Unfortunately, crashing is part of riding. Man, I hate hearing about stuff like that. See you guys soon! |

Al, I distinctly remember saying to keep the rubber-side down. Seriouly, I hope you're alright. Takin' a spill sucks. Rub yer wounds, fix yer bike and get back to ridin'. I noticed that three of us own an S3. For a bike that's not supposed to be popular? When I do see Buells... XB's, then S1's, then S3's, M2's, S2's, R's, X1's... I saw a white S1 today during lunch... Didn't have time to talk to 'em. I'll throw something together to hand to new Bueller's I meet. It would be easier then repeating myself horse. I went to MotoMarker in Acton and had my ear chewed off by interested riders. Hope to see you gentlemen soon. Al, heal! |

Hi all, I had a great ride also, right up to the time I hit the ground. Picked up the bike later that day. Scared the wife with a 2 second blackout yesterday, so to the ER we go. Everything checked out OK. Turns out I cracked my pelvis, so recovery will take a little longer than anticipated. I will recover, hopefully by the 10th-11th so we can head up to Meredith for the Buell demo truck. Laconia for sure. Enjoy the good riding weather. Keep your butt in the saddle and body off the ground and the rest will take care of itself. Thanks again to Scott. Al |

Hey so I finally checked in the Storm Front section... Lets meet up for a ride soon... I see that you guys had a ride last weekend? Fun? And by MHD do you mean Meredith HD? Or Manchester? Or neither? I am up here in meredith/center harbor. Someone hit me up if you are around and want to ride... |

Hey, Dano here. Manchester, HD. Last weekend was a good ride except for Al's low side. The weather looks crappy for this weekend, maybe better soon though. Welcome to our little corner of Bad Web! |

That was a good day, I had fun! That's the kind of riding I enjoy! Squids ride on the ragged edge, which is not what I want to be doing on the street! We were fast, but responsible. Now, I just need to get familiar with the roads so I'm not sketchy about corner speed on the unfamiliar pavement. Al, you had to hit sand didn't you and mess up a perfect ride! Just kidding, not your fault, I've been bitten by the same thing. It just goes to show that no matter how experienced or how careful, there is an inherent risk involved with our hobby. Again, get healed up so we can hit the twisties again! |

I had a great ride yesterday. Brought the bike over to Maine and rode into Big Moose Harley/Buell. Then we rode up 302 to Naples, had some food and watched the Sox play. Then back to North Baldwin, Maine. All in all about four hours and with the skies threatening rain the whole time. As I shut off the bike the rain started... perfect timing I guess. Not sure what anyone's work schedule is like this week. But I have Mon and Tuesday off if anyone is around and has some free time to meet up. |

No honey do list here. Actually, my fiance just called off our wedding! That really sucks!! I guess the military moving around isn't for her. Oh well, at least I still have my toys!! |

Yeah, totally sucks, but life goes on brother. No, relationship is struggling to hold on. I'm just not sure if I can continue after she decided to move out and call off the wedding for no apparent reason other than she doesn't want to leave the state when I get orders to a new duty station next year. Pretty lame, but I guess I can understand. Moving around all the time definitely sucks! At least it's riding season. Tons of fun to be had with or without her. TTUL, Dan |
