Did I miss something? I logged on to the Buell site and registered for the ultimate weekend package and it said the fee was $35. However, it did not mention when/where to pay; it just said that the registration was confirmed. A little strange. Usually reservations want some kind of deposit and/or full payment in advance. Got the bike out of its shed and parked in the carport ready to leave bright and early for a great day riding tomorrow. |

OK. went back and was looking at the calendar of events and saw where it said there was a time slot for registration and to pickup registration packets. However, when you preregister don't you usually bypass some if not all the registration table stuff? |

Trapper, last year there was no preregistration, and the tech sessions were overflowing. I think they realized they needed to get a handle on it. Cash payment at the door I think it said. That will be Friday morning at the factory. Last year you needed a BRAG card to get a wristband to gain entrance to the factory. Without BRAG, this preregistration must be the plan. |

That explains it. Trial & Error method to find out what works. I think we may take the scenic route in the morning and take SR13 up the gorge by Chittenago Falls then hook a left on SR 80 to Tully. Garmin says that route from Rome to Tully should take about an hour and twenty-five minutes or so(We will probably make better time, but you never know!). If we leave Rome at 0700 we should meet you prior to 0830 so we will be able to leave Tully as you planned by 0830.My cell phone number is 315-338-9480, although I can not hear it ring while I am riding, I can retrieve messages when I stop. If there is a problem give me a call. See you and all in the morning. Be safe! |

I will be taking RT 10 down towards Deposit. Leaving here probably close to 8am. so I should be in deposit before 10 to meet up with everybody. Will also be able to provide a road report on the state of RT 10. Took my last ride on my old marauder today delivering it to it's new owner (my brothers Girlfriend). While I am sad to see her go, my wife has told me it is going to be a while before she gets on the bike again, so I should sell it and when she is ready we will get another cruiser. Although seeing all the bikes out today made her wish she could fit on the bike (She is pregnant with our first, due in early july, hence no homecoming for me). See everybody in the morning. -Patrick |

ahh Just got home here as well. Great ride. Time to recharge a bit and get ready to watch the sopranos. Was great to meet everybody. Going to have to do it again sometime (hopefully soon). Maybe hit the Ilion Gorge? I have a decent loop I do that goes through Cooperstown, around the lake, up through the gorge (stop and get some Ice Cream ) then down through the gorge and back around. |

Kegan: Sorry about wreck. Made us sick to our stomachs to get that call. Glad you are ok. Yeah the frame looks a bit rough, and it is a big expense. Insurance company is probably going to want to total it (from what I have seen/heard), but I am far from an expert on what you should do in a situation like this. |

Great ride, guys. It was great to meet everyone. I'm looking forward to doing it again, soon. Sorry to hear about your bike, Keegan. But at least you'll live to ride another day. Thanks for the coaching, guys. The roads were pretty empty most of my way home, so I spent a lot of time practicing, and getting used to being leaned that far over. once I re-size my pictures, I should be able to get them on here. |

Sure glad to SEE all the chatter and that all made it home well. One only slightly bent and I am sure will be a little sore in the morning, but able to be riding in short order. I think we all learned at least a little today; I know I did. Beautiful weather, challenging twisty roads, nice running bikes and a great bunch of motorcylists enjoying the time together. My idea of a fantastic time. All except that one oops. However from the photos posted, it appears all has turned out well with all things considered. A good day. I hope to meet you all again soon. -Trapper ps: next time I will add a cable repair kit to my spare parts bag. Talk about luck! who would have guessed that out in the Adirondack park a Buell with a broken clutch cable would have a Snowmobile Yamaha shop open nearby with a cable repair kit on a Sunday afternoon with most of the snow gone. I still think we should have pooled some money together and sent Zed in to by a lottery ticket for us! |
