Well Weekend was not so good over at my house. Friday got home to find my fence had colapsed as one of the 4x4s had rotted away, on top of the fact that my sportster had the positive battery cable rot into two pieces. Saturday found me trying to get the sportster running and not finding cables nearby and buildings a set, and not being abel to make them work, working on a customers car that took 2 hours longer to fix than i budgeted (charged him for them but feel bad as he is a friend) but got th eproblem fixed. Went to smithfield to get new battery cables from Shelton's not too bad, had to stop at a restaurant as as not to drive through the clayton tornado warning. Got home to find water in my laundry room. have to re-route the sump pump drain (more PVC fun, along with breaking up some cement and playing with great stuff foam) But I got in a good 5 miles of test riding before the sky opened up, and I put up 90% of the fence just have to re-hang the gate. |

Most of you don't, awww heck - nearly none of you, know that yesterday was my Birthday. But when I got to work yesterday the colleague of mine with the XB12Scg that we went to Orlando to pick up remembered! Something special from Germany:
From their website, loosely translated online: And always note: You "never drink recommends" more than your physician or druggist to you. This applies would say and would write in the special to 77.7 Absinth - the variant for the extreme enjoyment - with 77.7% vol alcohol. After looking at how the purple labels on the bottle look blue in the pictures I had thought I had already drank some. The only question to ask is 'Will there be any left for MB V?'. Time will tell... 1313 |

Well Happy Birthday there Brankin... Well I just can't catch a break, on the way home from work the throttle cable on the sporty somehow seized... it was a fun ride home, luckly on the mikuni the throttle linkage is on top and I can operate it with my right hand. So now lets see I have had the battery cables and the throttle cables go south on my bike, and a fence and a flood on the house... hope everybody else is doing good, i am off to make the wife Shrimp and grits for dinner. |

Sporty - Just so you do not think you are alone. Our little town has its annual Shad Festival this week. Last night was wrist band night, which means for one price the kids get to ride the rides from 6:30pm-9pm. I was late from work like usual so I rode up to the park on the M2. In gear and carrying my helmet, I find Kristi and the most of my kids. Carlee is too big to gang out with Mom. She's running around with her friends paying no attention to me until later. We had a good time but it was getting late and cold so we decided to leave. I parked the bike on the back side almost at the big rides so I jumped on the bike and rode around. Kristi headed toward the front where the Suburban was parked. As I rounded the block there was my family crossing the street. I pull up and Carlee tells me Kristi fell down carrying Luke. So sure enough there is Kristi hobbling across the street. I ask her if she is okay, "I'm fine." I ask her a couple more times with the same response. Everyone gets home and Kristi goes and takes a shower and I see for the first time that she has a six to eight inch area on her knee that has been skinned up pretty good, some swelling and bruising. She lays down and falls asleep pretty quick. This morning I get ready for work and I wake up Kristi just about the time I have to leave for work. She tells me she's up, but I ask her to stand up before I leave. She looks at me funny, but I insist to see her stand before I go. Well sure enough she tries to stand up and she can not straighten her leg. She falls back into bed as I call into work to let them know I am going to be late. I take the kids to school and return to the house. Kristi still can not stand without help so I call in to work again to find out it's a mess. Luke is asleep so I run to work to straighten things out. In about an hour I have all the emergencies contained. Call Kristi and she still can not take care of Luke so I go back to the house. So grand parents called and off to the doctor's office, then to radiology to find out she may have bruised the bones in her leg, but luckily she has nothing broken. So I start to think, "man, that is the same knee I hit when I had my mountain adventure at the Dragon. Hell I was running 30-35mph when that happened and faired off much better than Kristi at walking speed. So I have decided that if Kristi is going to walk, she must have proper gear from now on. That was our day, how was yours! |

Thanks guys! Apparently after walking for 40 years, the process just left my brain. Not sure what happened, just thankful that it was my leg/knee and not Luke. Carlee's birthday is today, she turns 12. Where does time go? Hope everyone has a good weekend. Don't forget shirt orders by Monday! |

Just thankful that it was my leg/knee and not Luke. Of course Luke has nice flexible bones and would have bounced right back. Hope you feel better soon. |

Guess I should dress for the "fall" huh? All the things I seem to manage, and I can't walk across the street, go figure! So Jerry, are we having your birthday party in Suches? Once we secure the 2nd cabin, we'll have room for you and Denise. Hope everyone has a good weekend. |
