I'm banging my head against the wall... Up here in Northern MN it just got warm enough to bring out the Buell... I had it in storage through the winter & now it won't start.. It would fire just a bit so I thought it must have spark & started going after the fuels system. The fuel pump would cycle so I pulled the line off & sure enough it was pumping fuel. So I went back & checked the spark & it was basically non existent very weak to nothing, Not sure how it could even fire every once in a while.. This bike was running fine when I parked it 5 months ago! Any Idea's? I'm right at the top of MN by the canadian border so If I end up bringing it somewhere does anyone have any suggestions? I'll need new tires too so input on that would be cool too.
Thanks in advance

How did you check the spark? Did you take the spark plugs out and test them or did you use fresh plugs?

Was the battery fully charged when you did the spark test? If the battery is marginal, there might not be enough juice to fire the ignition while cranking.

Is the fuel 5 months old too? Stale gas doesn't ignite readily, so it might foul the tip of the spark plug and make it seem like there is no spark when, in fact, there is. If the gas smells like turpentine, drain it and fill with fresh gasoline.

Maybe you can try spraying some starting fluid, available at most auto parts stores, in the air cleaner while trying to start the bike from a wakeup. Or take the air cleaner element out and spray while starting for a more direct application.
