Jugallo94 I have to work then attend my sons soccer game at 9:00 but I plan to be at American around noon. I'll be on the white S2. Bring those Blast bars if it isn't too much trouble, otherwise I will just have an excuse for another ride. Thanks Tom K. |

Ok so I take the foot peg off and open up the shield housing the tranny fluid and this is what I got:

Looks like you filled the tranny with water. Drain it off, rinse it out with a couple of quarts of oil, refill it, seal it off. Then NEVER wash you bike with out the seat on again! You some how got water into the tranny vent tube, find out where it is and route it so it doesn't lay on the bottom of the frame rail. |

I think we are now going to Detroit to get the messenger bags. Where ever we go I think we should all meet up and ride in together. Spidey you know that no one that you knew still works at American right? I really don't care where we go, I just want to get a bag and go riding. Blackbelt decided on a meeting place and time. |

Spidy I guess still has some bad blood there.. I would be leary too going back to a place that screwed me over after working my tail off there. What ever, where ever we go we need to call ahead so someone make a decision and let me know and I shall call to let them know that a bunch of Buell Hungry guys are coming to demo ride and get free crap |

Ok we are all set-up for American on Sunday @ 11:30-12:00 time frame.. the guy is Mike D and is ready w/ most all the bikes.. he said he has a couple 12X's one or two TT's, a couple 12R's and a couple 12's I called a couple others on the list and their stock is minimal.. so American looks like the best bet.. sorry Spidy |

There is a small coffee shop about a half mile off of I94 near my house called Primo. Then I can lead every one to American the back road way. No real twisty roads to speak of, but back roads are always better than the highway. Directions from the East: Take I94 west bound to the first Ypsilanti Exit. Huron/Whittiker road. Turn left or South bound, coffee shop is on the right hand side just past a post office and a church. Directions from the North (Blackbelt) 23 south to I94 east. Exit at the second Ypsilanti exit Huron/Whittiker turn right. Down on right hand side after post office and church. Huron is the second exit after you merge on to I94 from 23. If you pass a 5/3 bank you have gone to far, and the coffee shop is in the same strip mall as the bank. Any questions hit me up on my cell 734-368-8868. If we want to be there between 11:30 and noon, I would say meet up between 10:30 and 11:00. It only takes like 15mins to get there, but when you plan on meeting a whole bunch of people, there are always some one that is going to be late. So shoot for between 1030 and 1100. I'll give you an big "Amen" to that! Great weather, great ride, awesome group of riders and new friends. I'll be running with you guys as much as you can stand to have me. Jugallo: Thanks for the bars. I got a lot of strange looks flying down 94 with those sticking out of the top of my pack. Tiburondriver47: Thanks again for letting me demo your ride. My only regret is the S2 seems a little older and a lot slower now. Thanks Tom |

You should have strapped them to the front so they looked like horns! When I got home my oldest daughter said that I looked like a hillbilly coming down the street because I left the twine tied to them and it was flapping in the breeze. I am seriously thinking about letting my '68 Barracuda go to finance a 12R. I've had that car for 23 years, but that XB is calling. |

Tom k. Glad you enjoyed your demo ride. What engine do you have in that 68 Cuda? That would be a tough decision to sell it after having it all those years. |
