From ADVrider : "Old Today, 09:19 AM #14 GearHeadGrrrl Adventurer Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 72 Buell Demographics... Why do I get the feeling that the average Buell owner is a middle aged virgin who's never had a date? Would have tried a hooker, but couldn't get up the courage. And finally got kicked out of his mother's basement because he kept doing burnouts in the driveway... __________________ Buell M2L BMW R100ST (GS lowered 50 cm.) She's just ticked as a Buell owner not to be able to afford the male "companionship". You'd think her parents would eventually cut off her internet connection in the basement. |

I"m a lil surprised that so many spend any energy on what is clearly a sad individual who can only feel good by slagging others . . . . . ah well -- gotta go make room in the garage for the new scoot |

Is that the dumb bimbo that just whined and cried to no end on here before she was banned? Some people are just insufferable tools and that's all there is to it. |

yessir -- after having taken one of the world's nicest bikes, nuetral handling, all-day comfortable, great milage, tasty looks, relatively light weight, performance equal to a 25% improvement over what the rider is capable of, I managed to turn it into a PITA to ride for more than 90 minutes (to these oft abused bones), better handling (on semi smooth surfaces, anywho), performance equal to 50% more than the rider is capable of . . . this is not the first time I've done this to an innocent motorcycle, btw, but my mis-spent youth hurling myself against the planet at high rates of speed has caught up my highest level requirement was a bike I could ride comfortable to the Gap (900 miles, more or less), with a change of drawers and sox, and enjoy once i got to the Gap details, you say? pickin it up Saturday film at eleven (now I can make the MaDeuce a REAL PITA for more the 90 minutes! WOO HOO) |

She got the middle age part right for me. And I spend a lot of time in my own basement, but as for the rest of it, I have great memories of losing my V several times. |

I would love to see a picture of her. Another lonely middle aged women. Ya noticed she didn't respond to her broken belt post. It seems she exceeded the replacement interval and then whined when it broke. |

Now, If I remember right, the H2 was a 750 wasn't it? The H1 was a 500, I think. |

The H2 eventually morphed into the softer edged KH750. I had a Kawasaki brochure from the early 70s that listed a quicker quarter mile time for the H2 than the 903cc Z1... 12.0 vs 12.3 seconds. That was one quick Kaw. In modified form, they still ruled the roost at an eighth mile dragstrip I raced at into the mid-80's. The sound was spectacular. |
