I am really not interested soo much in an increase n power, mainly I want a bit more exhaust tone, or should I say, some tone as the stock pipe is almost silent. Anyway, I want a bit more, and was planning on the special Ops, but am a bit worried it will be too loud, I can get a Buell race pipe which has a dent under it. Which one do I go with? Opinions welcome... |

Race pipe hands down. Low end is killer and the tork curve does not have a flat spot or one a person could feel/see w/out a dyno. Go to American Sport Bike page for shootout that Al did. Great stuff |

You will need to switch to a Race ECM if you go with the Race Pipe. |

I got a race pipe and love it. You should get the race ECM no matter what exhaust you get. |

How much is a race pipe and ECM going to cost? |

I just got my race pipe and ECM all dialed in. Nice low rumble, not too loud. I think I paid $250 for the ECM. I got a used Buell Race pipe on ebay with 1500 miles on it for $560. |

I like my D&D but it is rather loud when you twist the wick! |
