Be forewarned, you have to use a shorter belt or combine with the larger front pulley. That's why my rear euro pulley is on the shelf at the moment and not on my S1W - I don't feel like mucking with a belt change just yet. | ||

I changed from 29-55 German to 27-61 US ratio,still using the same 128t belt. I'm pretty sure mixing 27-55 will work out as well.I know at least 2 buellistas riding it with the stock belt. Ralph (Message edited by xldevil on April 10, 2007) | ||

Ralph,the euro bikes had some different adjusters--at least on the steel swingarms--as we had to make some spacers for my bonneville bike when fitting that combo. Just remeber you will loose a whole lot of power down low with this combo and unless you have a stout motor,you will never pull fifth gear.Have you tried a 29 or 30 tooth front? | ||

I tried stock front, Euro rear on my steel-swingarm S1W. Not enough belt adjustment slot, couldn't get it tight enough. I don't think it was an adjuster problem, I think there wasn't enough slot in the swingarm itself. But I'm not sure; it was a while ago. I do remember looking in EPC and there were no seperate part numbers for the HDI (International) adjusters; one part number fit all. It did show the different sprocket numbers, so I know it listed "all"...or should have been, anyway. | ||
