When I push my 03 XB9S around there is a squeak coming from the front pulley. At first I thought it was the belt, but it's coming from the pulley. Any idea what's causing the squeak or how to get rid of it? |

Both of my bikes squeak from various places around the drive belts, when I push them around the garage. I've never thought anything of it. |

Get rid of the bearings, that will cause the squeaking to go away! Try a dry lubricant like Sailkote at your local Marine store or try shooting it with some Tephlon based lube to see if the squeak goes away. If there is play in the idler pulley, check the bearings. |

I have a new idle pulley, just installed it two weeks ago. My bikes done it since new. Still though, it's always a good idea to keep an eye on the bearings. Good call. |
