Well that thoughts out the window anyway. No bugs till Sat. morning. Gonna go pick up more cover/tent today just in case it rains. With that and the garage it's all good... |

Sorry guys, the weather really sucked but the hardcore drinkers and bug eaters still showed up. Jeff got awsome reviews on his home brew as I am sure he knows due to the fact that 2 tanks of beer were about 40 lbs lighter when he left. Can hardly wait forRT's El Ranchito BBQ so's I can get a taste of whatever Hoot brews up! I sure hope the weathers better though.} I used more gas heating than I did cookin! |

Well, I guess we're BadWeatherDrinkers too. Thanks for hosting Steve. Were there any casualties the next day? A couple of us were pretty far gone, but I think a good time was had by all. |

Cough... um, hi all. Pre-Bueller here but think there will be a xb12r in my garage in the very near future. Made a big step today when I sold one of my bikes, a dual sport. Trying to do the one bike out - one bike in thing. Anyway, I've been crawling the Buell boards learning stuff, have demoed the Firebolt at Mancuso (a little surprised how good the bike fit for me at almost 6' 4") and am now just trolling the usual places seeing if there is anything decent in the local used market. Just thought I'd check in. |

The D/S was not my main bike. I've got a Multistrada which is plenty roomy but the xb12r is for track days and the occasional weekend Hill Country run... I'm thinking that putting the Lightning pegs on the Firebolt will be the first mod I do. |

Well, it's happened. The xb12r should be in my hands by Friday - a 2005 with 8k on it. This will be my first Buell and first true sport bike - can't wait I don't know if I can take another round of "mod fever" - I am going to try and be good for a while and just enjoy the bike "as is". We'll see how long that lasts |

Well, I'm sorry to say that I am still "buelless". The bike showed up tonight delivered from Dallas and it was a serious dissapointment. I negotiated my way through the small ding in the right-side frame/tank for some cash back, but when I saw the missing passenger footpegs hidden under the seat with the right one broken off and the gouged swingarm - it's condition just didn't seem to be as "excellent" as quoted. I guess I won't get to wow everyone at work tomorrow with the xb12r as I had hoped... but I'm sure there is another one out there. |

I just stopped by Mancuso HD (Crossroads location) today and discovered that they finally had some Buell Tshirts. After hounding them for the last couple of years I guess they finally decided to try & sell something with a Buell logo on it for a change. I just received my 3 shirts that I had ordered from Liberty HD in NJ which I could have bought locally. There were only a few Buell bikes on the floor but I was told they had just received several of the new models and were still in the back. The person I talked to was planning on ordering some more Buell items to see how they would sell. I hope a few of you fellow Buellers will stop by and encourage them to carry more Buell items. |

Hey guys, I've been a Badwebber for a couple of years now and it never occurred to me to look and see if there was something organized for the Houston area. I ride a 2005 XB12ScgR(front conversion), and I've got a tight tight road dog that's got a 2005 XB9SxR (front conversion) here in the area too. We've been getting together riding, hanging out, modding our bikes, and all other things Buellistic for about a year now and I'm thinking it wouldn't hurt our feelings to hang out with other Buelligans. Anyway, We'll be attending MB5 and will probably be leaving Friday morning and returning to Houston Monday night. We're trailering our bikes and gear, but will be taking turns riding on the way out. If anyone intends to ride the whole way but could use a support vehicle or if you want to convoy with us, send me a PM and let's get together. |

Hey guys, anyone nailed down plans for MBV?? My father just bought an ST13(14?) and has said he will be trying to make it to MBV. Just wondering what your plans are and whether or not I could hook him up with some Buellers coming our way! Don't worry he is cool and loves to ride. He had mentioned seeing a bunch of Buellers on Meetup.com in the naked bike riders thread. |
