Have you priced them at the dealership? Buell parts prices sometimes are a pleasant surprise. Sorry I can't be of more help. If I had a set I would give them to you so that your kid can enjoy the riding experience with you. Good luck. |

I have some off my 12R if you still want to trade the jacket, although they are the dark gray one. I took them off the day I brought the bike home(wife doesn't ride) so they are mint. |

Not sure if there is a difference. Mine just bolted through the seat rails. Looks they are probably the same type for the Bolt and Lightning. And figuring they were probably designing with economics in mind, they probably are universal. Where would I be sending them to? Maybe this will help ya. |

Hey Brian, If nothing pans out for ya let me know. I have a set off my '06 Ss. They're one of the first things I took off, so they're near mint. I live right across the bridge in Bonney Lake near Lake Tapps. To help out a local Bueller and his kid, I'd let you have 'em. All I would ask for, is a chance to go out and tear it up with another Buell from time to time. They're just sitting in a Rubbermaid tub in the garage and if they could bring you and you son together, then they need to go to good use. They're of no value to me. I'm not 100% sure they'd fit an R model, maybe call Cityslicker tomorrow and have him look it up. PM me if you're interested and maybe we can meet halfway after work one day. Scott |

Hi, I have a few pairs of the rear passenger pegs as well. I will never use them again, so you are welcome to a set. I don't need anything in return either. The R & S come with identical parts. FYI - 03 models had shorter brackets than 04 - present. How old/tall is your kid? Also, I own a powder coating shop. I can send to you in any color you want if you are interested. Later, Pete (Message edited by xbcrazy on April 09, 2007) |

I also have a complete brand new set/never used off my 05 XB12Scg you can have. Not interested in a trade, but send me a PM if one of these other offers don't work out for you. I'm sure we can work out something way less than you'd pay for new ones. |

by the way...it is my daughter that rides with me..she's 14 ..she has been pretty bummed especially over the last couple of weeks (its been really nice here in washington) so i told her id post on the forum and see if i could score some new pegs...we sat down last night and read the responses...it might not sound like a big deal to most of u..but we both got all teary eyed....its a big deal to someone who cant really afford to go buy new parts. |

Glad you found someone close to you. Any chance you would be interested in selling that jacket (said it was a bit small)? Mine was stolen a few months ago when my VFR was bikenapped (had it safety cabled to the bike). |

Nice to see things work out here on Badweb. I tell you what... finding this website was one of the smartest things I've done. Another Badweb act of kindness comes to fruition... |

Molly, I believe I'll take you up on that, not looking forward to riding in long sleeve t-shirts this summer. I gotta tell ya, Buellers are the greatest people. They say "You meet the nicest people on a Honda"...but even when I was a member of a local Honda club in S.Fla a few years back, you just didn't find genuinely good people like the ones I've encountered here. Makes me love my Buell that much more. |
