I got my heads and cylinders off of the Ducati996 today.I'll replace the head/base gaskets to eliminate the coolant leak.I'm trying to source a 1036cc kit and 996r cams at the moment.Should end up with around 130-140 HP. It is a good time to be had by all. We have some pretty descent roads we can hit through the CT,MA,RI boarders... I only hope they still amuse me after riding some of the most sick roads I have ever ridden to date, and with a great crew no doubt! Thanks Guys! and it did make for some good video I agree...always good to see yourself Screwing up a perfectly good corner...... I think I can handle the shift-clutch thing. Hope to see ya at a track then to show us....when you are up against the clock it is a different ball game all together...Guys blow runs all the time over missed shifts... Very cool that there seems to be more "Traffic" in the NEBO section since returning from Georgia.... I thought the dealer put it together, It ran not like it should and this caused you to bury the Mod. Bug? Nah,after the mods I did it was breaking often.Mostly shorting the early evo stator which WAS behind the clutch basket(now at the crank).I developed the belief where engines are engineered to a performance level.And exceeding that means poor dependability.This Ducati is long paid off....time to wring it out for some more power.I'm told they're dependable at over 150 HP. Can't make it out this time. Today I noticed the front end shakes when coming to a slow stop w/ the Brakes on. Need to check that out also. Now that we are back from the trip it is Time for me to get out there and find me a job. Staying home sux's. Just finished touching up my resume. Hope I can get something close to home, but will go where the coin is obviously. Is there a general location to meet? In the summer we usually meet on sunday morning for breakfast, (Lowell's Restaurant in Mendon,MA) Then a fun spirited ride somewhere. Take 495S to exit 11? Rt 140 Norton. Go down a couple of miles till you get to the Rt 123 set of lights.
