Does anyone have a pic showing how the Hyperpro (not the LSL) damper mounts at steering head under the fairing stay? On my race bike I kept the stock fairing stay and wire loom and its crowded under there. I can't see how it's going to work without cutting stuff off. TIA. |

You really need to move the wiring loom. Mine started out as XBS, which means less wiring at the front. I only have one picture. If you could get the wiring sorted out, it is really easy. The hardest part is to grind like 1/16" of the front fairing stay.

I've finally got all the parts I need to put the front back together. I drove up to Hals in West Berlin WI and looked at Bilansky's bikes. I've drilled and tapped a hole in the side of the steering head to reposition the two ground wires that were right behind where the damper bracket sits. My wire loom is still intact so it will be a bit crowded under there but I intend to grind off a portion of the stay as you mentioned to get additional clearance and think I'll be good to go. Thanks for the pic! |
