I posted this in the KV, but thought I'd ask here. Sold an '07 12Scg to a lady today, but she lost her left thumb in an accident just below the first joint. Rides fine, clutch no problem, but the turn signal is an issue. It looks like there's a blank cover on the right switch housing - with a little wire moving, can we (as in HD/Buell of Frederick) un-install the slidey switch from the left side, move the blank cover from the right to the left, and re-install the slidey on the right switch housing? Technical knowledge and ability we've got...I just don't know if there's enough real estate inside the right housing - or any required slidey tracks or whatever - to allow it to be relocated. |

Awesome. The Shop Foreskin...er, Foreman is going to dig into it as soon as I get the customer financed. For the re-wire we're planning to just cut the loom, free the turnsignal wiring from the group, re-route it to the other side of the bars, and shrink-wrap both looms when done. Glad to hear it can be done! |
