Anyone order one of these from Alaska leathers. If so, how do they fit on the buell ? Do you like them? Did you order the dual sport size? I see the BMW guys with these things all the time. |

I've got a universal cover from Sheepy Hollow (http://www.sheepyhollow.com) that I'm very happy with. Fits well, works well, and doesn't look too funny. |

Hey Brad: My fiance' has one that she used on her F650GS. She no longer uses it. The sheepskin is black, in like new condition and it is a medium. I just went into the garage and it is a perfect fit for my Uly seat (I have the lower seat on the 06). I will sell it to you half price plus shipping if you would like it. When I had my Goldwing lots of folks on the list swore by these seat covers. I had an air/water cushon on my wing, so I never did have a need for a sheepskin. I have also found that I do not need a pad with the Uly seat. Anyway just send me a note if you are interested. If you do not like it you can return it for a refund minus the shipping fee. Paul I also take paypal |

If you want to save some $$$$, go on ebay and do a search for english saddle sheepskin, or just sheepskin. You'll find a lot of reasonably priced items that you can easily modify for a bike saddle. EDIT: These almost look made for a bike saddle. http://tinyurl.com/2sm3o5 (Message edited by johnnylunchbox on April 04, 2007) |

I use an Alaskan sheepskin cover on my ST-1300 and it's great. Don't feel like I need it on on the Ulysses. Bought it at a BMW rally from the Alaska people for about $40 as a "factory second" |

I have the Alaska Leather pad on my Uly. Rode to work with it installed for the first time today, about 25 miles one way. Fit is good but not sure if I need it or not. My only complaint so far is there isn't anything holding the front to the seat (I will modify this) so when you stand up the front edge blows back to the strap that secures it. I'm sure if you talk to Barb at AK leather they would add a second strap to the front. Do like the quick disconnect especially with all the spring pollen in the air. Bought it for the 1K days that are in my future.
