HEY HEY guys!whats been up lately?First I have been on for awhile.I have been pretty busy lately.I started painting my bike at the beginning of winter and just put the last coats of clear on today.I painted it the factory red and then shot 3 coats of red candy over top of it to make it darker.I ended up airbrushing the BUELL in silver and it looks pretty good over top of the red.I should be able to wet sand it tomorrow and get it buffed so I can put everything back together.I havent even heard it run since November(Yes I am a loser)I have 2 more projects lined up for it this year.1st Project is the Baker 6 speed trans and the 2nd is the Axtell 88 cu.in big bore kit.So Rumrunner how is the bike running after the engine rebuild?Ceejay did you ever get that seat back? How did that turn out?WILE I dont know you but how are ya?What do you ride?I should be checking in a little more often now.Anyone planing any rides? |

Rums been hard at work on his bike too. It looks good but yet to see it CLEAN. Love to see some pics of your ride (paint actually) You do it your self? Stay tuned........Mattu |

I order the kit from Axtell. Then all we do is disassemble the motor, bore the cases to fit the bigger cylinders, etc, reassemble and then you have 88 cubic inches.I kept the paint plain and simple so it is nothing special.Factory inferno red then went over it with 3 coats of candy red then 3 coats of clear, wet sand, spray on the silver Buell emblems,3 more coats of clear, wet sand, buff, done.I was going to ghost in some graphics but didnt have time over the winter. Now I just want to get it done and slap it back together so I can ride it.I will get pics up as soon as I get it back together. How far are you from lancaster?Maybe we can hook up and ride |

Sounds good!the only person I have rode with from here is buelligan(from ohiosportbike website)I cant remember what he goes by on this site.I put a ride together last year and he was the only one that showed up.RUM gave some lame excuse about having to work(just kidding rum)and ceejay didnt want to ride without his seat for some reason.I am going to try to put together a ride soon to head northeast so maybe we can hook up with rumruner. All the good riding in ohio is east from here anyway.I will have mine back together this week(just in time for the snow this weekend) |

Scream how the hell have you been. Well the bike been running ok sense the rebuild but this summer will be the true test. I'll try and give no lame excuses for your ride this summer Toona has the Res ride going on i think the end of may. Its over by Altoona PA check it out its at the top of the storm front thread. I haven't heard from ceejay lately the swingarm he sold me looks great on the S1. He's a hell of a guy the sketch he made me of how the swing went back on worked like a charm. I talk Wile/mattu usually on a daily bases his bike is going to look awesome when he's done with it. I hopefully will get the bike inspected this week sometime. And then i'm ready to ride with you flat landers. Mattu you get bored later give me a call the best would be after 6:00 pm. |

hey screamer, good to see you back. nobody could do the seat the way I wanted, so I bought an S1 seat rode that around for a while and then my header snapped in two, and my third child was born so I decided to go a bit different route. if you look in old school section under XB swingarm conversion it'll come up. Hopefully I'll have it done soon, but I'm gonna be travelling a lot for work so well see. I'm kinda thinking I can have here back together this month if everything goes well. |

Was good BS'n with you Rum. Even though you are a young whippersnapper you got your s--t in the right place! I cant get over Cee's bike. Gave me a few ideas, dont want to be a copycat though. He's done an excellent job. Wonder how something like that would do with supermoto rims and tires? Like the ride height. Might have to design my own TT........Be safe bro.......Mattu |

This is why I hate to start customizing my own stuff. This started out as a 1975 superglide. Then I ended up putting the motor in a fat tire softail frame with air ride and 6 months later I had this.

Too bad Cee, I bet you would've loved that TT. Scream, I've had my Buell a whole 6 months and still couldnt leave it alone! I get the bug bad when it come to a stock bike. I look at em and say, What can I do to make it MINE? That bike there is awesome! I bet you had abunch of loot in it. I guess its what sets us all apart but the same. None of us can ever leave it alone. Cee's bike is truly one in a million. I'd like to stick a Blast motor in a dirtbike frame and make a Supermoto. That would be different. Looking at my KLR I think I might have a good platform........(honey he's doin it again!) LOL |

OK well it looks like welfare is out of the question so i guess we will have to come up with something else to get more ride time.As far as customizing goes, when you do it everyday,it kinda makes you want to leave your daily rider alone.Mine wouldnt have even got a paint job but I couldnt stand the color of the paint when the sun hit it a certain way.Plus when I start on something I kinda go overboard.......... |

Okay Scream, its in Old School, under S1 to S3 conversion with swingarm etc. Its an awesome job I think. Yeah I know what you mean about the paint. Thats kinda why I asked about your's. I'm in need of a good painter. I got alittle piece of Gixxer that needs painted. Just the tail hump. Its the plastic and needs shot pearl white. So no welfare. Can we pimp ourselves out to eligible 40-50 types with lotsa money? We could be known as the Buell Studs. Well a few of us, I dont know about Rum. LOL |
