I bought a 2000 X1 a few months ago and I am taking it in to the local dealer tomorrow for the 10K service and I would like to know what I should expect. I haven't bought a manual yet so I am not sure what all is needed at the 10K service. Can anyone clue me in? Thanks. |

The 10,000 took me quite a few hours to do on my M2 to grease the steering head and swing arm bearings. Since I had the swing arm off, I also upgraded to the newer rear isolators. Mark |

I had read on the XB board that the front fork fluid had to be changed at 10k. Does that apply to the tubers also? |

Can't speak for the X1, but on the M2 (conventional forks) the service interval is 20k miles. |

My S1 (WP inverted forks) is a 10,000mi fork oil change interval. A service manual is the best tool you can get. |
