The rubber or plastic pieces that you stick on the back of the gas tank so your belt buckle doesn't scratch the paint. And where to buy them. |

http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/5757.html Protective clear plastic sheets, & carbon fibre buckle guard. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/5724.html That's 2 extremes, I think most motorcycle shops will have adhesive backed foam bits in artistic shapes. I remember rubber bits with popular tire tread patterns are available. "The rubber or plastic pieces that you stick on the back of the gas tank so your belt buckle doesn't scratch the paint." Is actually the perfect line to use when buying them. "buckle guard" might get a slightly dim parts guy confused, & he'll tell you they don't have any because the computer says they don't. I wish I was kidding. |

If none of the sponsors have any, ebay does every day. Cycle Gear has stuff like that and there are stores in almost any city. Pretty common stuff. Wish I had slapped it on the S3 tank before I scratched it up. |

The rubber or plastic pieces that you stick on the back of the gas tank so your belt buckle doesn't scratch the paint. They're called tank protectors. you can get them from most motorcycle shops. You can also get them online from someplace like Competition Accessories or Chaparral, etc. If you have an XB, Buell sells a real beauty. |
