Will, Good luck with baby sunshines tests. Don't panic as they're not always sure themselves. The doctors told my buddy he was gonna have a girl, they painted the baby's room pink, bought pretty dresses/dolls etc. and you know what popped out... We'll miss ya this weekend and our thoughts and prayers will be with ya. |

We are slow here at work so I made a rearstand out of some 4x4's and jacked up the bike, took apart the front end and did some inspections and cleaned up and fixed up some damaged threads and got bolts where bolts are supposed to go etc...... During this I found out why the SV is not tracking straight.......The right fork tube is bent like a flaccid penis!!! I will still rock it cuz it is not binding but it still bothers me. Well I rotated the fork around and got it better, but not best. I also raised the front end a little too, I got it handling pretty good considering. |

I've been slammed at work this week, haven't had time to get on the web to read the archives. The bikes fixed again, they said it was the regulator. So 50$ for warranty work and I'm back riding again. I just hope this one last longer than the one they put on last year. Thanks SMHD and Cameron.... B_S, We'll keep ya'll in our thoughts and prayers. Wish you were coming up for MBIV, but we understand. "Family comes first" Charlie, I know where some stock SV forks are. What year is yours? I'll make the call if you want. Congrats Chiluahua_stud on the city X, Way to go Brian, I'd like to hear the CD when you get a copy. That rocks...you rock!!!! Rock on |

Charlie, I think that a GSXR 750 (could be the 600) front end is a direct bolt on for the SV.... Makes for some good setups from what I hear. |

Hey guys, I may not make it out now until late Friday or Saturday sometime. I'm an investigating officer for a financial liability investigation, (bullshit) and it's suddenly the most important thing in the world. The Earth might, conceivably, cease to rotate if I don't finish this thing five hours ago. So the leave form that I had signed so I could head up there today somehow got informally, retroactively, disapproved. This Army thing really chaps my ass sometimes. Hopefully I can still get up there late tomorrow... |

I feel your pain Sean, You think you have it bad now? You are an officer right? It sucks much worse for us enlisted. I had leave canceled on a regular basis after the whole 9/11 thing. All holidays, including Christmas were canceled on the spot because someone, somewhere thought we would have to jump on a plane. Ah, I really miss the Government! Smokescreen |

Yeah, I'm just venting. I've lost plenty of time to the Army since 1993... The worst was getting yanked back into Iraq after 12 months for another 3-month tour. This is nothing compared to that. Thanks! It helps to put stuff in perspective. And if I stay around the Southeast US, I can go to MB-V. |
