When you sell something in the classifieds section why wouldnt you want to put a price in your ad? It eliminates a bunch of BS IMO. Its like those catalogs or ads that tell you to call for price. I usually just skip them. Am I just lazy? |

I completely agree with ya on this one. Its a waste of time not to put a price. I always laugh to myself when reading the newspaper classifieds when folks dont list prices. |

I never put a price on anything I've put in the classifieds, but I don't want money, I want to barter... trade stuff. Who needs rocker box covers or a nice, never worn Vanson/Buell textile jacket? If you got something real cool, I got a new, in the box, never used Buell Pro series race muffler for a tuber I'll trade. Let's barter. |

You got the headers to go with that DJ? If so I'll swap you for something French! (sorry the wife's not included!) |

Because prices change and we can't update every post. I 2nd the fact that I will barter/deal on prices. Everyone has a starting point. If I put a price out there, some won't even begin to offer me another price, even if I say OBO. You can't please everyone. It never hurts to ask what the price is. You know your limits on how much a certain product is worth to you. The thrill of the hunt comes to mind. |
