I bought one of those o-ring box sets. I used the same diameter ring but its a little thicker. I squishes out of the drain plug a little. Anyone else have this problem. Will I have a problem. The nut is tight, will it loosen or am I just worrying to much. |

lol you are worrying too much. If the nut is tightened to spec it won't come loose. I use a little blue Loctite and replace the o-ring when it looks mashed |

I've been told the oem o'ring is only 25 cents a piece. The whole drain plug, complete with new o'ring and thread "SEALANT" is only $2.50. |

I don't use the o-ring. I use loctite thread seal. Thick white stuff. I don't remember the number. It never leaks and is super easy to remove and re-apply. It's in the manual. I got tired of cleaning oil off my rear wheel and and swingarm so I gave up on the o-ring. |

There is an O-ring????? I changed my oil at least six times and the dealer once and the o-ring on the plug looks like new. Can't see how you;d ever destroy it. |
