My brother has several old Hondas he is redoing and is looking for a source for the old "snuffers" that were used when you cut off the muffler and wanted to quiet down the straight pipes. |

Jim, Check here, not cheap but very retro cool! They were called Snuff or Not's. I have NO idea why I remember that little worthless bit of trivia... http://www.coolretrobikes.com/hondamechanical.htm Brad |

I remember them, too. They seemed to work pretty well on Honda 305 Scramblers, but my Bonneville with TT pipes used to blow them apart after about a week. rt |

There is a shop on 17th st. here in SF that specializes in those bikes - old Hondas, Suzi's, etc. if you need any obscure parts. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

Brad, That's when you know it's happening, you can remember insignificant stuff from many years ago, but you can't remember where you left your pants when you took them off, or why. |
