Well due to the hospital bills mounting and other crap to deal with. I have no choice but to try and sell the X1 for the last time. I am going to give a complete detailed list of the bike, parts and accessories included with the sale. Here goes. For sale is a second owner, local bike show winning 2001 Buell X1 Lightning in excellent condition with under 12,000 miles. It is molten orange and nuke blue color combo. This is one of the nicest looking and running X1 around. For the year and 7,000 miles i have owned it, it has been trouble free except for the kickstand switch which went bad. I have done what most have and crossed the wires. Just remember to put it up before you pull out. And like most of the tubers the rocker box gaskets leaked they have been upgraded to the graphite gaskets. It has 1,000 mile on a fresh oil and tranny change with motorex synthetics. There are 2 blemishes one on the chin fairing from the clutch cable rubbing and the other on the top of the tail section about the size of a pencil eraser. It will also need a rear tire real soon. I have a clear title in hand. Now for the description and the deal you will get if you buy my X1. First off i will mention the 2001 Buell X1 in stock trim has a blue book value of $5,300 with and average miles of 40,000. Lets say my X1 stock with 12,000 mile is worth $5,300, no doubt it is worth more. Lets add the bike and all the add ons figuring the add ons at half the cost of new which is very generous with all the carbon fiber. 1. 2001 Buell X1 lightning stock = $5,300 2. carbon fiber buckle guard = $40 3. carbon fiber dash overlay = $30 4. carbon fiber tank accents = $145 5. carbon fiber under seat panel = $155 6. carbon fiber upper belt guard = $65 7. clear tail light = $25 9. license relocator = $15 10. S.S. braided f. brake cable = $25 11. S.S. race exhaust & ECU with ceramic coated header. = $600 A total of = $6,400 Now to add all the accessories to go with the deal at half of the retail value. 1. 2 Icon Alliance helmets, blue in color and sizes XL & L and one extra mirrored shield. = $200 2. A top gear leather jacket, zip out lining size 52. = $175 3. Joe rocket riding boots water resistant size 12. = $90 4. new battery. = $35 5. 2 extra capacity oil filters. = $10 6. service manual = $30 7. The wall clock show award. Not sure of the clocks value but let say. = $60 A total of = $600 Add the total of bike and add ons= $6,400 You have a very generous total of= $7,000 I will sacrifice the bike and all the add ons and accessories for under the blue book asking value of $5,300. I'm doing this because i had a deal with a guy and he backed out at the last minute. and i lost a sale because of his backing out. The boots and jacket are no longer included. I am going to sell them separate. Not many people who ride are going to wear my size. So if you want the bike and the rest of the accessories i will let it go for a low low price of $4,500 or $4,250 with out the accessories. | ||

Sorry the auction on ebay ended tuesday at 4 PM and i receive the deposit already and the guy is coming for his X1 Saturday. |
