Wandered out to the Auckland motorcycle club champs at Pukekohe yesterday. Had no idea I would spot one of these: It was doing all right too - ran away with (what looked like) Thunder class and podium-ed on the other races I watched. So in between races I went and said g'day to Gordon and got the skinny on the bike - and a pic of me on board etc etc. Then went and took the snaps I was mainly out there to get - my mate Brian on his 'Postie' Bike. But there was trouble afoot. Shook 3 screws out of the primary cover and was a non starter for the last 2 races. Every other machine and crew were all metric. no chance of a replacement....unless... At first I wasn't sure about 'borrowing' them off the Press bike - not being mine and all that - but then my brain kicked in with a large DUUUUHHHHHH! Of course that is what any Bueller would do. Should do. And it went back out and kicked. I've got some video of it too. youtube it presently. dd (Message edited by danger_dave on March 24, 2007) |

>>Like the Postie Kwak. << Full noise too - lightened crank, the business. Something let go while he was leading on the 3rd lap unfortunately. Price you pay for the full noise I guess. Would have been a quiet drive home. |
