Finally rolled the bikes out of the shed today, and got them started. I had to charge the Buell it's been sitting so long. Once I got the battery up it ran like a top. AT least I remembered to treat the gas. I also washed out the jacket and the helmet liner. I may actually make it out the door some time this week. Going to try for Hooters on Wednesday, if it is still going on. Haven't ridden at all in a month of Sundays though, so I'll be taking it easy. Quit cigs 2M 2W 17h 2m ago. So far saved $442.25, 2,948 cigs not smoked and counting ... Some good news. Been about as long since I have had a drink too. Missed bike week totally. No T shirt for me this year. Oh well, there's always later. Anyways, if you see me slinking about, try not to throw stuff at me.. Stretch | ||

Welcome back stretch! I just finished a month of antibiotics without a drink, to party a bit too hard on Sunday. It was a great ending to a still great month! Daytona was usual, but dry, at least the second weekend! | ||

Cool. Glad to hear that somebody made it. I just took the Buell out for a ring out ride. Seems to be running fine. Battery has me a little worried, but it's been sitting for a while. I rode it for about an hour though, and it started up twice after that, so it looks like it's good to go. Am thinking real hard about putting a "R" tail on in. I was thinking about it before, but today I really started to wonder how it would be. About 700 for the whole project. I will have to wait and see if I really want to do it. Stretch | ||

hooters is still kinda hit or miss-sometimes it's packed and sometimes its just dead--the steakhouse has buells and other sportbikes from the Floridasportbikers.com group and usually anywhere from 3-5 or more Buells show up. last thursday @ Fudd we had 4 Buells show. tonight there is a bike night at Hard Rock also | ||

Yeah. I checked out the Grove tonight. Weren't any bikes out at all. I saw like 3 the whole time I was out. Drooling over the new TT. Was going to mod my tail, but seeing that bike, I am thinking about it hard. Would definitely give me a lot more room, and looks cooler than all get out. Might need some custom plastics though. But it's like a CityX on steroids. Has anyone seen one yet? Are they available to demo? Stretch | ||

Rode the new TT today. It felt cramped. I also rode the Uly, and I liked it alot, but it wasn't what I was looking for. So I ended up riding home a new 07 XB12SS, in the orange red or whatever it is color. SO I ended up riding it home in the rain. Good start. Runs good so far. 20 miles on it. Fits a lot better than the other one I was riding. Now, to get it broken in so I can see what it's like on the highway. Stretch | ||

Got Frame pucks today. Also, found a tear in my brand new stock seat, Not fair, bike only has 39 miles or so. Couldn't ride yesterday, because of all things, I had a plumbing problem. Got that fixed, got out today, yeaaaZZZZZZZ!!!!!!! So sweet. Anyways, just ordered a sport seat for it. No one recommended the touring seat, so the sport seat it is. Besides, it has that head turning sunset orange color. Waiting for the frame pucks to dry, so I can get back out there and do some more break in mileage. Gotta get over 50 miles, so I can take the bike to 5G rpms. Weather permitting, I should be out and about this week for sure. Stretch | ||

Schedule too full. First w/e in June going to the Dragon. Just discovered my NW/Cruise/Alaska vacation this year coincides with SPLASH (Sport Lap around St. Helens)... wonder if I can rent a Buell... Yeah, I hear ya. Not like I've been gone for like a year or anything. Saw the guy with the race 9, and another guy from the sport bikers thing with a cityX. I so suck at names. Stayed till like, 10. Started getting really crowded, so I split, hit Montys, rode through the beach, and got back up here about 11. Nice cruise. I'll be out and about a little more lately. At least I hope. Stretch |
