Just talked to Bri again and looks like I get to make my own clutch cover as no one makes one for an XL motor and belt--if it was a Big Twin I would be set,DUH! Break out the bandsaw.And need to custom make the top mounts as motor/head height is way different than stock.Oh,well,just more fabricating once motor gets in frame. Add that to making custom exhaust to hang turbo,plumb and mount intercooler, make and mount water tank for intercooler,mount tank and pump for methanol/water injection, make and mount custom gas tank and plumb new FI--- just a few things---oh, and then get body massaged and mounted. Did I mention the wiring??? |

Damn Jim! I wish I was near you, I'd love to help. I love fab work. That motor is just plain sick from ALL angles. Just curious, is the belt drive really needed? Isn't there a quad row primary that would work and require less fabrication? Just curious. Brad |
