Has anyone been to Buell.com and filled out the questionnaire to take to the store for the free toboggan? Once again my "local" dealership has let Buell owners down and is not participating. Not that I need another hat but crap, a brand new shop and at most when I've been there they have three Buells. Sometimes none. Last time I took it in for service they put the wrong tire size on. Is this the same everywhere? The next closest dealer is over two hours away. I know this has no performance related relevance but Lexington HD should not even have Buell on their sign. I think I should protest. Sock it to "the man" for Buell repression! (Exit stage left off of soapbox) By the way, I did get out for about ten miles last week during my lunch hour. 72 degrees and the X1 ran like a charm after the oil change. Hopefully the weather is going to break for the better this weekend. |

You expected to get something for free from a Hardley Davidson Shop? Did you buy $300 worth of chrome first. They may have thrown ya a $5 toboggan then. I've never seen a real HD/Buell dealership. I've seen HD shops with a couple of buells in 'em. But that's not quite the same. I hear tales that there's some up north. |

Kyrocket - get used to it. The dealer 2 hours away probably isn't any better. I'd like to have the hat, but my local dealer doesn't "participate" either. |

Yeah, free, what was I thinking? HD stands for hundred dollars anyway. I was just venting, I know business is all about the all mighty dollar anyway but it just seems that something could be done to keep the loyal customer happy every now and again. It would be neat to see a Buell only dealership somewhere with a couple of Harley's on the side. Wouldn't that be something? Firemanjim, just read your profile, quite impressive. I'd love to have the 88" motor in mine. I was looking at the kit just this morning on line. Wow that must be some power! Where's that lottery when you want it |

0.o HD/Buell in Danbury CT gave me a hat no questions asked. They had about 15 Buells last time i went, and they were all right at the front door. |

Glad to hear you got yourself a free hat Frank. I hope you enjoy it. They have been going really fast. We gave quite a few away at the Daytona 200 party. We try our best to be a great Buell dealership. That is why you will find them right by the front door. Last time I checked we had over 50 Buell models in stock. Jeff |

So how about all you shop guys volunteering to supply hats to the folks who can't seem to get their dealer to ante up. They can send/fax you the coupon. |

Sorry Jim... we gave away our last hat this afternoon. Like I said, they were going really fast. No worries, the next Buell promo is right around the corner. |

We didn't have the hats last time but we did get the silly beanies. It's Florida, we don't need no stinkin' beanies... |

I'll chip in the postage if you want to send a stinkin' (it can be washed right?) beanie a little farther north. |

Free anything is an absolute joke from Buell/HD.... I have participated in every friggin promotion that has come down the pipe, and save for one dragon shirt in 2000 I have not recieved ONE not ONE item that has been promised. Either from my stealer or Buell corporate. I love my Buell, but the dealers and company as far as I am concerned SMOKE POLE. |

Thanks for the concern Court, and the quick response, my BP is ok, just a really bad week, and kinda took it out in this thread...... I really dont expect somethin' for nothin'.... customer service is the bright spot of Buell the company, the two times I have had a concern they alleviated it immediately. Maybe I would have different opinion of the company if I lived near topeka.... |

Well, I have to eat my words; kinda. Leave it to a badwebber to come to the rescue of a fellow bueller. I got my "free hat" today in the mail thanks to Rick_a. If your ever in the Orange Park, Florida area be sure to stop by and support those that are supporting us. Thanks again Rick! |
