I remember being a big fan of these rack systems when I lived in Australia - seemed like almost every other bike had one mounted. Here in the States though, you hardly see any - partly I think cause people worry more about looks than functionality. At least that was the case for Cindy and her bike. Soon after she bought it, I went ahead and ordered a Ventura rack, which she promptly made me send back. "It'll spoil the lines,” she said. Well it's been almost a year now she bought it, and the frustrations she’s experienced with the limited luggage options have wore her down somewhat. Time to revisit the Ventura rack system. Turns out she really likes it, that it doesn't look so bad after all, and wishes that she hadn't made me send it back the first time – oh well, better late than never. I’ve always thought they looked okay – fairly minimal and worked really well. Back in the day it was a one piece unit without the option to swap out the rear rack sections. Now however, I think it’s nice that you can remove the Pack Rack and go with the minimalist Sport Rack or Grab Rail. I especially like the way the Sport Pack works/looks on the bike – and so, too, does Cindy Few more pictures of different setup options here... Cheers -Jack |

Nice bike! I've thought about the Ventura set up for my FireBolt, but I've got all the Buell bags instead. I like em a lot, they work good for me and my needs. |

The Ventura rack was the very first thing I got for my 12S. The versatility is amazing. I'm constantly switching between the sport pack & the 35 liter bag. Once I had the 35 and 45 liter bag on and I was able to haul an ungodly amount of stuff on a little bike |

Mine is on order now. I will have it in 3 weeks. Very versatile, I cant wait to get it mounted and attached to my H&B SportTrunk. I will post pics when on and done. (my pelican side cases came in too, now I have to do panniers brackets as well) |

I want one so bad! I take function over looks any day. You get more looks anyway when it looks out of place! Just like the XB lineup. Looks out of place. People are always ogeling the bike still after 3 years. |
