This is the bike Russell Mitchell built in Daytona on Main Street during Bike Week. It's a cliche photo but nonetheless beautiful. No chrome here.

I actually like that guys stuff...I love the lack of chrome..what are the RUB's to do if the trend swings away from the obnoxious custom bikes dipped in chrome? Do you have a better picture of the whole bike? (Message edited by liquorwhere on March 20, 2007) |

My buddy is a fan of Exile. He puts his own twist on it though.

I like Russell's attitude, and outlook. Don't much care for the dull look of his bikes. But if you need your bike to look like it can kick the s**t out of another bike, he's your guy! They always look so tough. Now the trike he built, that thing was bad a**! It was like a freakin' steam roller going down the road! |

I don't think it is that his bikes look like they kick the $hit out of other bikes..it is just the fact that his bikes are so anti RUB that I find them appealing..I think he could make the only Buell chopper I would ride..but bikes are like everything else in life..a matter of taste. |

My buddy would thank you for the compliment. Hurst shifter,Torque Trust wheel's,Wilwood Dirt Track car racing brake that work back and front at the same time. He's built 2,sold 2 and on his third shortly. Heres a shot with the the new owner of that bike with Willy G giving it his stamp on the swingarm.

Well, like said, that's what I like about Russell himself. I admire the fact that in his industry he continues to be so anti-rub. To me, that's cool. He is what he is, and if you don't like it, he will look you in the eye and say "whatever man". His bikes, not for me, except the trike. His attitude, totally for me! |

I absolutely hate ape hangers. I think they make a bike look ridiculous. |

That has got to be the nicest street bob that I have seen. Nice job, classic styling, minimalist chrome and 5 star American Racings to top it off. |

Good eye. I didn't mention that it was a Street Bob. It started as a 2007 model. So the drive train is still under warranty and its titled as a HD so you don't need to get it past state inspection for EPA and all the mumbo jumbo. |
